  • [QUOTE=trustvishwas;907704]Each and every Ninja sold in India is eligible for getting it replaced. Even if you don't face any issue (like I never did), no harm in getting it replaced during your next service.

    Hi Vishwas,
Thanks for your reply. Iv'e just barely crossed 4k on the bike. I hope to reach the 6k mark when i'm down this year. Will make it a point to remember this issue when i go to the Service Place. However, i am a little apprehensive of this.. and the bike is no longer under warranty.. so there is a chance they may take advantage of that fact and last but not the least... If it ain't broke.......

After my mail to Bajaj, they have sent Service Managers from Kolkata and Hyderabad along with a technician(on 2nd of Jan) to diagnose the issues which my bike was plagued in.

After numerous attempts of checking the voltage level at each and every possible junctions/circuits of the bike, it was found that one of the stick coil was loose which was hampering the spark plug's functioning resulting in stalling issue.

The service managers stayed at Bhubaneshwar for an extra day just to ensure my bike's proper functioning after logging in significant amount of distance. I rode/ripped the bike all the way to 14k rpm and found the problem been resolved and confirmed the service people about the same.

Good thing is Bajaj flew their service managers to Bhubaneshwar which has impressed me most on Bajaj's seriousness in attending to my bike's issue.

      Great going, Bajaj!!
Wow..I'm pleased to know the issue is finally resolved. Though I've been following these updates on your issue for quite a while, but being a fairly new owner of the Ninja 250 I honestly didn't have anything significant to add. But I'm impressed with your perseverance in following up on this case with Bajaj. Good Going.

Glad to see that they are still attaching importance to a premium bike from their stables.

Guess what my GT250R had similar issue, i clocked 4k kms on my GTR and everything was great untill the symptoms of knocking at lower rps started, was feeling like only one engine firing properly, after a week in service station my bike issue solved, after the DSK checking my entire bike sensors and parts finally it turned out to be a simple spark plug holder/adapter prob due to which sparks from spark plug were spreading.so seems like these kind of issues were simple but tricky to identify irrespective of brand of bikes, it all water downs to skills of service centers and unfortunately not all service center has skilled personals

          • Hi Friends,

Lately I have started to have a craving for Track. I really want to scratch my knees on the Tarmac & do some serious track racing.

Please help me & suggest, if any of you are aware of any group in NCR or in north India, who goes out to Buddha Circuit. It would just be great if I happen to get a group of N250s.

If not, anybody else who is a Ninja owner & wants to do track...... we could form a group of 4-5 and go to Buddha.....

            Waiting impatiently for your replies....

            regards

I was interested in a trackday earlier, but I dropped the idea when I came to know that they only allow riders with riding suits and not separate jacket and track pants. Otherwise the fee last year was around 6-7 k per session.even if I buy a new suit it wouldn't be worth it. I mean I won't be using it as much as I spend on it. I'm still interested if I get an alternative. Keep me posted if u have any good option.

                3) Check the fuel injectors - both of them.

                4) Throttle sensor - it might need a reset.

I believe buying a riding suit is not a bad idea, its infact, a long term investment. That suit can be used for touring also. Cramster have it for 24000 only. I am soon getting one.

Nice, That's good if it suits you. It still won't be worth the money cos I'm a weekend rider. and I don't like touring (no offence to anyone) a few sprints in and around the city is what I go out for usually. But yes, track is my dream land. I'm still looking for suits of less cost for trackday, but till then my riding pants serve the purpose well while scrapping knees on weekends moreover, the A-star knee sliders only cost 2500Rs a pair, i've had them for 2 years now and not anywhere near replacement yet.

But do keep us or atleast me update in case your happen to go for the track at the BIC.

Even if you do not remember, the service centre would replace the sensor on their own. They have to report replacement of each and every bike to Bajaj. My bike is now 3 years old i.e. very much out of warranty, on top of that, I never faced any issue . . . still those guys replaced the sensor while bike was undergoing service.

I guess so. Then there is the other diagnosis that came up for such batches as to whether it was the roll on sensor or dampening kit that was causing extra vibrations to trigger the sensor in the first place. Anyways i'll check it out when i'm actually home. Discussing it is just making me miss my baby!!

The sensor was touching its bracket in some bikes resulting in engine cut off.

Thats sense! Unfortunately i never thought about it. So where do we ride to experience tracks? Yet, 130+ wont be a bad speed at corners. What say! Nonetheless, am just waiti g fnor R6 & C R600RR to be launched in india.
