Besides, the rear one has a different profile, i dont think it will fit and suit Ninja well.
The CBR has a radial rear tyre. The handling and bump absorption characteristics of your Ninja will change. The CBR250 has always used IRCs in the SE Asian markets, they're using Continentals here to save on cost.

    • Dear owners,

I need help in suggesting an aftermarket exhaust for a new ninja 250r 2012 model. If somebody can tell me where to get it and will it affect warranty.

      Regards,
      Hota

In India, warranty will be void if any changes done to the machine. I use a carbon fibre slip-on by SIMOTA. Nisar motor works in Bangalore deals with this. You could also use Leo Vince or Akrapovic. All these are very good. Depends on you budget and whether you are looking at a slip-on or full exhaust system.

        • My Ninja's both front and back break pads have worn out guys.I have clocked 8k kms on mine.I replaced the front with the stock ones priced at 1.5k.
For the rear I am looking out for some low cost alternatives without affecting the breaking performance,Any suggestions?

          • Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if the bar end weights of the ninja 250 R are replaceable with bar ends of any other bike in India, I was willing to fabricate brake and clutch lever protectors. So wanted donor bar ends from any other bike

Now its virtually impossible to ride, the bike stalls down randomly at any rpm/any gear. Escaped couple of lethal situations while overtaking. Have stopped riding the bike!!

Will be taking the bike for servicing/check up this Monday. God knows what's the issue. The spark plugs were changed during the first instance at around 3000kms and now at exactly 6000kms the same problem has cropped but this time with worse symptoms. With pillion it goes max 100 metres and then it stutters and stalls!!

              Any pointers?
Go through this check list in this order:

              1) Check stick coils positioning/fitting on both the plugs.

              2) Check fuel tank pump for clogging.

              3) Check the fuel injectors - both of them.

              4) Throttle sensor - it might need a reset.

Please also check the 'bike down' sensor . Had a mysterious stalling issue on a friends bike two years ago and it was finally traced to the sensor that shuts off the bike in the case of a fall. The sensor was faulty and kept shutting off the bike intermittently. This fault does not show on the standard diagnostics ad was traced over a few days by elimination at the Chennai PBK.

Vijeth, use the standard brake pads on back and don;t dilute it with other local one's . the reason the back pads will last longer ..much longer than the front, unless your always putting slight pressure on break lever all the time while riding.
back one always needed and most important to shed speed , no matter how good the front brake the back one plays very imp role. so spend another 1.5k and get stock one

Hey dude, if you follow the link in my signature, I'm selling tyga performance exhaust systems in india. They are a reputed company and manufacture in Thailand. If you want an exhaust for looks and sound, you can buy a slip on. Otherwise I recommend going in for a full exhaust for better weight savings and increased power. Good luck with your choice!!!

p.s it will affect your warranty, but you can always take it off before taking It to the service centre.

Did you check with PBK TVM or at their service center. I bought one from them in august and the price was around 4500.

Bought mine from PBK in Goa. Inr 4300/- a year back. When i first inquired only green was available..... had to wait another year to come back on vacation and buy the black one!! So i doubt you would have any issues getting it from a PBK.
