Nice job..Looks better than the FZ one for sure just because of the carbon fiber finish. How good is the connection on the right hand side with tha aluminium bracket? I mean do you feel any vibrations there while going through bumps or at high speed? and I think it can hold tyres upto 140-150 size aswell due to the clearence..is that correct?

      thanks
What is the position of your feet on the pegs? Sliding forward means that your centre of gravity is off. The most common reason for that is incorrect position of your feet on the pegs. Many of us graduated to sports bikes from commuters, so we carry old riding habits with us.

One of the most common I have seen is riding with our heels on the pegs, since we want to step on the rear brake immediately in the case of an immediate stop. Also we tend to change gears frequently ( too many times IMO) to ride in the most economical gear.

A sports bike like the Ninja is a very different beast and the weight bias is towards the front, which means that the front wheel is the most effective for braking. This means most if not all your braking needs should be met with the front brakes itself, without ever touching the rear. To use the front brakes you need only two fingers of the right hand, and not your right foot. As for the gears, you will find that a little more focus on your gear changing only when required will result in an automatic change of your riding style. Your FE may suffer slightly, but if FE is your primary concern, you should've stuck with a 100cc HH.

The correct seating position on your Ninja is to place the ball of your feet on the pegs and not your heels. The moment you do this, you will find that your CG has shifted from movable to planted and is more centred on the bike. Since braking is no longer required of the right foot and gear changes are more planned and less frequent, you will find this actually works. My right foot remains stable and static on the foot pegs while the left keeps moving from the peg to the gear lever to change up or down. You will also find that gripping the tank with your thighs actually work now, though the N250 stance does not require it especially with your height. You will find that because your body weight is now centred, your wrists, arms, elbows and shoulders are absolutely without stress.

The first thing that you will learn in any track school is this and this needs to be applied to your sports bike. I've become so accustomed to it that my rear brake is completely unused. Incidentally, I'm 6' tall and suffer from a lower back vertebral disc dislocation which means that I have lived in constant pain for more than 12 years. Doctors had told me that I would never be able to ride again, but I've proved them wrong by touring an average of 20k Kms a year on my bike. In fact the only time when I feel no pain in my back is when I'm on a sports bike. I find it difficult to drive 600 Kms a day but have no problems riding 900 Kms a day.

My doctor who was first sceptical about my riding has studied my posture on the bike and determined that my riding stance is the reason for this. Since my weight is centred and stable, the strain is no longer on my damage and weakened back. I see that you live in Chennai, so look me up sometime and I can show you this over a cup of tea sometime.

      Cheers!

Yes it can hold tyres upto -140-150 and i dont have any vibration from the right hand side of the bike ... i have ridden it trough rough patch of road for quit a bit and i dont have any problems with it

Yep, they are LEDs - ( STREET FX Parts & Accessories - ElectroPods LED Complete Motorcycle Kit - Cycle Gear - white colour)
(remote - STREET FX Parts & Accessories - Remote Light Controller - Cycle Gear)

Also to get the pics, i have strip out the full faring, and since i have no cut sliders on the bike, it is a pain. Will do a unstripped version ( no wiring - snaps) of the same and post it by the end of the week.

why don't you try the one on planetdsg..for 3499Rs.
It's adjustable, so ideally should go with your future bikes if required.

                            Hi Mithun

I am using it for 2 months now.... Results are not as amazing as described by many of users here on XBHP, yet better then any other clear coat/wax i have used. Thing is, One can not be sure with the product being original. Moreover Colinite is a sealant. We must have a wax job, before we put Colinite. One great positive point about this product is that you dont have to buff too much after application, like with hard waxes.

Am just experimenting with it... and may go for Mothers, another reputed name.

                            regards

Dont know the price yet... has anyone tried it out?
