Not sure what is your question but there is no such shade on headlight and must be just a reflection. It is all chrome and nothing elseOriginally posted by temuchin View PostHi all, i have a nagging question since the day I laid eyes on the bullet.
what is that shade on the headlight called and can it be removed ? like in some electra models.

Yes it can,but why you want to remove it? It gives a special look to the bike. But choice is your's.Originally posted by temuchin View PostHi all, i have a nagging question since the day I laid eyes on the bullet.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 500
No big deal, go to any mechanic and he will remove it. You can remove yourself as well.Originally posted by temuchin View Post

Sure, I will post my review. But after first service. Now I m trying to get replacement for front mudguard. But they are making so many excuses like its hand made bike, and its not a major problem ( sir thoda to hota hai, utna pta nhi chalta) and all. It feels like it's my problem that I can spot these paint chip and dents. Lets see I will try one more time at the service centre.
It feels really bad to go again - again n cry for a metal shit.

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 500
Let me tell you my experience. My front fork was rubbing the mudguard and there was a good 3 inch mark on my fork sleeve, the paint had come off. This happened at the very first day but I did not check in PDI, actually honesty speaking I was on cloud nine at the time of delivery and did not bother to pay attention to PDI and neither I had done any homework(but much to my luck I absolutely did not have any issues apart from this small one). So next day I went to them after seeing that and as usual careless attitude from them, nothing sir get it a paint touch on first service, this is quite normal but I insisted to change the sleeve, they told we would do a paint job on first service. I spoke ASC manager and after some hesitancy he agreed and in the first service the changed the sleeve with a brand new one.Originally posted by mani View PostThanks Gyan.

So do not leave them and insist them for the change. They always have this take the customers for granted attitude

Re: Royal Enfield Classic 500
Hey guys!!
I was plannin on bookin the bullet 500(carb).
Went to the showroom and saw a classic 500(maroon) available.
Was surprised really as the waitin period was one of the reason i opted for a carb 500 over an efi.
Dealer told me to pay the cash upfront and ill get it within 2 days
8 years dreamin of the bull and finally shes comin home!!!
