guy's give me some pointer's as to what can cause really hard gear shift's..by hard shift's i mean really hard like the shifter lever almost jamming in some gear's..
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

It mostly happens when engine oil is getting old....otherwise the your gear lever must be little raised...Originally posted by BikerKid View Postguy's give me some pointer's as to what can cause really hard gear shift's..by hard shift's i mean really hard like the shifter lever almost jamming in some gear's..
this happened to me once...in my bike the gear lever was almost parallel to the ground and this caused me to use extra effort while gearing upwards...
Have your engine oil checked too...

hmmm my oil is new semi-synthetic 15w50 1k kms old and my lever is in perfect position... could it be the clutch plate setting's gone wrong? the lever end setting's are fine may be something from inside, and i have observer i have to leave out the clutch far too much to get the bike in motion earlier this was at half, this happened on its own.Originally posted by trsakhilk View PostIt mostly happens when engine oil is getting old....otherwise the your gear lever must be little raised...

lol awesome...Originally posted by nin View PostWe Mumbai and Pune xbhpians had again been to Rajmachi for the extreme offroading...
had prepared my bike for the worse
here is a glimpse...

I also captured a video from my helmet cam which turned out to be hilarious..our pulsar 135LS was the only bike to climb that slope and come down safely...even the fz which climbed crashed while coming down !

This may also happen if you've used the wrong grade of engine oil. 20W50 15W50 grade engine oils are also used used for cars with dry clutch, 135 LS uses a wet clutch for gear shifts. Stick with the oil grade specified in the manual.Originally posted by BikerKid View Posthmmm my oil is new semi-synthetic 15w50 1k kms old and my lever is in perfect position... could it be the clutch plate setting's gone wrong? the lever end setting's are fine may be something from inside, and i have observer i have to leave out the clutch far too much to get the bike in motion earlier this was at half, this happened on its own.

**w50 that 50 should remain same the 20 can be 15,10,5 now i wont explain the numbers but 15w50 is perfect for bikes that are advised 20w15 in fact 15w50 works well even at lower tempsOriginally posted by rahul11 View PostThis may also happen if you've used the wrong grade of engine oil. 20W50 15W50 grade engine oils are also used used for cars with dry clutch, 135 LS uses a wet clutch for gear shifts. P150 will be launched soon.you may want to wait.Originally posted by mayank.travadi View Postguys what do u say? to wait for the new technologies to be incorporated in lower cc pulsars like the 180,150,135(125?)(folowing the p200 ns launch with triple spark n stuff) or get this first indian 4 valvian?
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.
#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
#overkill is underrated.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road
(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

i am quite new to bikes and want to stick to 125 cc for now(shouldnt i? )...best of both worlds...mileage plus power(p135)
eager to know if a 125 cc version of this to be launched as duke 200 was followed by p200 so duke 125 shud be followed by p135 successor...atleast i hope so....Pulsar 200NS parts list

Hi guys ! How have you all been ? And how is your babe performing ?
I'm back from a more than 2000kms interstate ride which went right upto the border of pakistan
(a travelogue shall be up soon)
The Pulsar135LS performed flawlessly throughout and still performing the same. Average speeds of more than 100kmph(yes average! after the saddlesore ride) on the NH8, later combined with offroading on all kinds of tarmac including tar, gravel, muck, soil, cement, sand, shit etc. And yeah with luggage this time !
Here is a pic...The place where we spotted a lot of flamingoes..
Pakistan is just abt 50-60kms away!

AFAIK 3100 is also good..but 5100 is the best ! It held up throughout this ride..and that is what i wanted to test !Originally posted by nitroashi View PostHey guys ny1 heard of or used Motul 3100 gold 20w50 technosynthese in ur p135.ny comments/reviews plz

It always does and my fz friend always keeps whiningOriginally posted by finalblur View PostNice one! Didnt know the 135 could out-torque the fz!! I've had a few good experiences off the road on the 135 myself. Hope someone comes out with an off-road specced model.
off-road spec ? havent you seen the pics i posted before ? it however is a mod and not a production bike..
KTM125 is not for the indian market...chances of bringing about so many changes onto a 125cc are very less...but with bajaj you never know !Originally posted by mayank.travadi View Posti am quite new to bikes and want to stick to 125 cc for now(shouldnt i? )...best of both worlds...mileage plus power(p135)

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)
