  • Had anyone tried fitting a projector headlight on a ZMA ?

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

oh,okay, was thinking of going for an h.i.d for my unicorn. Was thinking of using a roots relay with the wiring harness. But the relay is for 4 wheelers.
@Ravi which bosch relay are you using? Is it a relay specific for headlight use only?

I am not using the relay now. I have been trying to put, but could not due to time constraint. Information regarding the relay is in following link. Sankar did it and it has been working very fine.

Unfortunately, Sankar met with a major accident four months back on his Zma and has been bed ridden. He is recovering well now and fighting to be back again.

            • Since we are speaking about relays and headlight. I have been using a car headlight relay with ceramic points for the past 6 months on my zma. I have fixed the philips 100/90 bulb no issues.

                • Crashed by skidding on sand last night...

                  Damages:

                  1. Busted fender

                  2. Both the front cowls

                  3. Headlight joints broken

                  4. LHS rear cowl busted

                  5. LHS front suspension rod bent

what will be the approximate prices of the above spares. If I opt for repairs through insurance, how much amount will be reimbursed?
What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

                  • Guys, Please help!!!!

Lately I've been facing problems with the front tyre of my Karizma R! It wobbles after few kms of riding, especially after applying the front disk, or when the bike faces any bump or pothole. I've got the 'wheel-through' done and they say it's perfectly ok. But I'm sure the problem persists.

put your bike on centre stand and check whether the handle turns freely to the left and right. If its tight then get the cone adjusted.

                      • If you have had a fall - get the bike checked for a fork Bend.

You will experience wobbling even if there is a misalignment of the wheels. Get the alignment checked as well.

Another thing that might be a potential issue is fork oil.

The parking attendant might have suddenly developed a taste for 91 octane !

P.S: Sounds funny, but it seems to be the likely cause.

lol. Maverick, I suspected the same. But,yesterday to crosscheck, i did a run till tumkur to check the average by reserve-to-reserve method, heck, it's turning out to be a superbike giving me 19+ average . carb cleaned, routine checkups done. does 60 kmph at little more than 3.5k rpm.
No issues except choke is required to start in mornings and couple of misfires as i idle the engine for a minute.
Will take it to the service center for detailed analysis.

if the wheel is wobbling see if the disk brakes are wearing in a random manner??..i mean cos the disk is fitted tot he wheel and the caliper to the fork!!..bearing gone??/

Keep us updated man. This does seem to be quite a serious issue.
