No, they are not at all scarce..readily available..!! But, a little on the expensive side..but, there are alternatives available which are equally good in quality..

Btw, for the 1st few years no such problems would occur..

    • ^^ Thanks Inder paaji. Similar post in the P220 DTSi section as well, and awaiting the results.

I thought that HH is gonna phase out the ZMA, hence the doubt.

        • Is it recommended that I get my ZMA's electricals modded, like DC to AC? These rains somehow have made my battery go zzzz. I got the water changed and got it charged too, but after a week's time it has again started to fail me. And, the other thing is the bike takes longer to get heated up and it keeps losing on power in that morning run. I can't understand the reason for that but I somehow feel it has got to do with the battery because all rest of the things are fine.

I'm facing similar problems after installing dual horns! The water levels are complete, still the problem!

Before undertaking this, check out at local mechanic shop/spareparts shop !!
I happened to go near JC road for some work and ended up picking the RTR disc pads from there. Cost me 315 bucks.

When I took took these to a mechanic he was not ready to believe these will fit a ZMA . After some prodding he agreed to try putting these on but said he cant give any guarantees if it jams or wears out too fast.

Anyway , the new pads are on and they are working well. Thanks again for the detailed route to castrol bike zone. Have you ever serviced your bike there? Are they any good? Tempted to give my ZMA there since its near to my office (ORR).

I hope that the new karizma is not all battery-powered. Karizma is a sucker for electric power.

                  • Karizma's electricals run very much fine. If there is a problem, it is not because it is DC, and it is because some problem with electricals. Check all electricals for any loose contacts. Ensure battery in good condition. Most of the bikes are running fine. You are the only two facing the problems. Get the electrical system checked once at A.S.S.

@satanicsaint: No, I have not serviced at CBZ so far, quite happy with HH svc. If you have not tried Vimal motors give it a try it's on OMR (b/w 100ft rd and Indranagar RTO), Millinium (IRR) is good for free svc, later he tries to change parts as much as possible and bill you royally (as per my experience), then there is Shreyas in Domlur (try if you have not). Explore HH thoroughly before handing over to CBZ (I have mixed feelings for CBZ and it all depends on mechanic/supervisor who handles your bike)

                            • I guess my bike's clutch cable is partially broken...coz even after pressing the clutch lever the bike is still in motion if in gear..

Or your clutch plates are worn out.

There is a chance also that the cable has gotten elongated (check for too much play at the lever).

You can physically check both ends of the clutch cable as well to see if it is frayed at either end.
