I haven't thought about it since I ride in heart of city and during rain take out my car..I guess a rubber pad at the bottom of the front mudguard or at the base of the front of , engine will help..Originally posted by acs1207 View PostLast edited by psr; 11-08-2011, 12:22 PM.When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

yes and the best part is it is removable easily when u need to fix any other stuff just need a pointed stuff and pull the gum out which will be hard by than and easily removable ,Originally posted by acs1207 View PostWell , it's a pretty good tool to have
. I came to handle it the first time only about 2-3 months back when I had to mend a rat-attack
on my car's wiring harness . It's not actually meant for sealing , mostly used to hold wires in place especially in electronics . But then if things were used only for their intended purposes my Zmar ( or anybody's ) would be like any other Zmar !!!
@psr - sir , now my engine cowl's removed (at least for the present ) and crash guard fitted . Feels even better to ride now that I have Zen mpfi filter . But one new problem has cropped up !
. Earlier the cowl used to bear the water/mud/dung that comes off the front wheel - now it splashes onto my feet ( no dung as yet !!
) . Have you done anything to your ride to counter this problem ? Any suggestions ?

@ Aneesh@4GHz
It would be nice if you will also update the fiber body parts price in the list.
Update
Today purchased new DPR8EA9 spark plug for rs75 but first when i asked the spare dealer to give the spark plug and told him the above number he said that its manufacturing date and has nothing to do . Then i said to give spark plug for karizma then he gave me the same DPR8EA9 I can't understand what he wanted to say.

U R welcome
Thats one advantage i found after fixing the guard.

Thanks for your kind words - It does mean quite a lot when something is appreciated by you !Originally posted by psr View PostVery Good clean D I Y, Much better than the one I had done...
The engine breathes better and so seem to become much free to rev .Since no gearing from stock is done RPM to speed remains the same....see if you get a better grunt when you accelerate.
Really love your DIY.KEEP IT UP.
The better breathing of the engine is quite evident - now I don't have to give as much throttle as I used to for attaining the same speed . Well , it should show since something which feeds a 1000cc engine is feeding my 223cc engine!!
Have to find a solution to that - my car is a no-no for daily usage . It'd take thrice as much time at least for my commute (not to mention thrice as much expenditure !!)Originally posted by psr View Post

It's sort of a "catch 22" in reverse! More guys are contributing because there's a healthy discussion going on and there's a healthy discussion going on because more guys are contributing positively!!!

And if there's a portion of it in a cavity with a tight bottle neck , a hair dryer or a hot air blower ought to do the job .Originally posted by shhbz View Postyes and the best part is it is removable easily when u need to fix any other stuff just need a pointed stuff and pull the gum out which will be hard by than and easily removable ,
