colors are personal choice it will never change the mindset of the purchaser however deep you discuss about it.

Dude all i will say is Black loooks hot at night......but the R15 Red...looks like they poured molten fire over da bike...it shines when light falls on it...i was never a fan of red color.....but R15 changed all that.....when u go for seeing the bike....try to see it in the sun.....you will know what i m sayin

Buy a black bike , strip the ride side panel off .
Fix Red Color panels/fairing.
U ll get both :-P

Thats a rad idea.....or you could buy a Black bike and put golden color tribal patterns on it......or a Red R15 and but somethin rad on it.....
Santoosh.....where are u taking your bike for servicing?i know i m asking again.....but could you please list out what all i can do with the headlights and their cost?

The headlight thing! Scroll a few pages back and you will see many many many posts about it. I too asked this on the forum but trust me there are many posts about it.
Still to reply: The pricing will depend on what you exactly want to do. Do some research on what options you have and what would you go for. When you are done with choosing then inquire about pricing. Try visiting SS also, they will let you know the wiring changes etc etc. Visit the SS only if you are happy to loose warranty otherwise DIY. Goodluck!

I remember someone posting about Mohan Baba who is good at Custom Vinyls. All I know is, he stays somewhere in Secunderabad. Anyone having exact location ?

Will just changing the bulbs to HID or white light bulbs help?or will i have to get the whole setup changed?i want light to be more intense on the road ahead than looking for a bigger spread.....i feel the spread is fine...i jus wud like a lil more intensity

It was me&HydBiker. HydBiker has a sticker on his blue R15 done by Mohan. The location is Taj TriStar lane, Secunderabad. I don't have his phone number. There is also a painter by the name of Baba Nawaz Siraj Spray Painting Works, who is excellent for touchups et.all. Anyone from Hyd is free to quote my name (Sarvajit F2, R15, Verna) at the painters&HydBiker's name (KrishnaPrasad) at Mohan's sticker shop.
In case you do get a sticker done, be sure to get it clear coated it by the painter mentioned above. They are both friends!

Bangalore wheels,
Just an oil change is my service. Formality sake.
I do not get it washed there,
I check the air filter and coolant level myself.Change the oil filter and Rest nothing is there.
Chain Maintainence every 500kms/every weekend i do without fail.
Thats all is my service.
4th service due on Thursday.

HeadLights-stock are bad,
anything else other than stock are gr8.
thats all i can say for now :-D

Hey Santoosh.. I have a question buddy.. Headlights are not good enough in stock condition..
Some time back I had installed white light bulbs on my R15. Halonix ones. It turned worse from bad.

Recently I shifted to the stock bulbs once again.

Q i have is.. has any one installed 55/60 bulbs on r15? not white/blue light..simple yellow light bulbs.

Will the output be better than stock ones? I hope it will. because stock ones are 35/35.

Most imp thing is will it have a bad effect on battery or reflector? Will the battery drain drastically? And I also read somewhere in this thread that some one had installed 55/60 bulbs n his bike's reflectors started melting down..? Is that true?

All in all.. is it safe to go for 55/60 yellow light bulbs for R15?

I's using 55/60 night breaker before I shifted to HID. It's marginally better than the stock light. Yeah.. the reflectors are rated at 35w. So it turns black after prolonged use( though nothing happened to mine). But I can assure, I didn't face any battery drain issue

Don't park it too much in the sun-red color fades very easily! Keep it well polished&get some paint protection treatment (teflon etc.)&your bike will be as blazing as the sun!
