    Hey! thanks gaurav... but these showroom guys out here in KTM were claiming that its an company changed one.. will have to inquire soon.. So you got this machine for yourself... howz it performing.. whats the color??? Is there any drop in performance and mileage with bigger tyres...thanks again

    i dont think thats company fitted. look closely at the pics, u can see the scratch marks in the alloys...so might be the service centre guys has fitted it later....me also from nepal. i have also fitted the same 130/70 tyres at the rear. they are IRC brand tyres...

      yeah..i have been a proud owner of this blue beast for last 8 months. i changed my rear tyres from stock ones to IRC 130/70 ones two months back and cant feel any subsequent change in performance, handling and mileage...i have clocked 8100 kms in the odo till date.

        The racing kit..

        friends...
        about the kit...if the power comes upto 22-26bhp...will the power delivery be similar to the current 17bhp..I mean will lower end power be more and will there be significant acceleration change in the 1st,2nd,and 3rd gears...If the power delivery is similar to the current on [email protected] will purely be a racing bike,and initial acceleration not upto the mark...

                      i bot it from pacer yamaha
                      The yamaha guys do not prefer to sell the parts over the counter.
                      they using it oly for the service bikes.

                          Hey guys,

                          Have a prob. The front disc brake pad is rubbing with the disc. Its making a wierd noise. It feels wierd when I brake. Its like numerous "brake on-brake off" sorta feeling. What has to be done about it?

                          Btw, got my 2nd service done y'day. Bike has clocked 5.2k kms.

                            What is wrong with these buggers? Do they want to avoid the bike being serviced by outside mechs/ourselves? Or the spares are at a premium and so they are reserving it for their own use!

                              Most of the yamaha SS never have proper spares. God knows why . Simple things like break pads and oil filters never be in stock. Thats the reason i stock all the spares with me

                              Bangy and chennai guys . If you don't get any spares for the R15 / FZ do ping me. Will arrange for it.
