    • @Digislayer: Hey bro even i have been trying for same kinda thing for last 3 months , i know i sound very sluggish, i think i must blame my work load for the same. Anyways coming to the point I have been trying to alot with the headlight, i have almost 8 pairs of angel/ devils eyes made from acrylic and few more things, which i thought on completion would post entire (DIY) Do It Yourself for our fellow Bhpians , so that they could do it by themselves and save money from other buggers who are selling it at wooping prices. Moreover i failed to do the above since i was unable to open the assembly i mean the glued one, i could not find an oven to fit the twin eyes so as to open it. Could you plz extend some help regarding the same? i mean how to open up the glued part and where can i get hot glue gun and all. last thing, will the skoda ppl give me the projector if i ask for?

AND OFCOURSE congarts and kudos for what you have done...

And as promised, I tried taking a few daylight pics:

          Features:
1)Two dedicated inner projectors for low beam alone.(one each side)
2)Two outer projectors dedicated for high beam alone.(one each side again)
3)Depth perception, the inner projectors poke out by an inch when compared to the outer two projectors.
          4)No light spillage anywhere.
5)Even the high beam projectors have cut-offs.
6)All four lamps light up when you're running on short beam and hit the "pass" switch.
7)Self made adapter so that the stock H4 connector of the bike fits in.
8)Stock rear rubber seals used(the ones that wrap around the H4 bulb's metal base to keep humidity out of the HL assembly). The adapter sits perfectly in the same seals just like a H4 bulb's metal base would, thus ensuring air-tight seal.
9)The setup is placed in such a way that all the bulbs are accessible from outside through the stock bulb changing hole at the rear, no need to open the assembly to change burnt bulbs.

10)The best feature which I didn't find in any other retrofit, ADJUSTABLE beam. The difference between the high and low beam cannot be changed, but both together as a unit(either LHS unit or RHS unit) can be upped/lowered according to individual needs. The beams of both RHS and LHS can be panned horizontally too. All this can be done right from outside itself, using the stock adjustment screws!

11)Currently using some cheap-ass 55w bulbs in all the four. Plan to upgrade to xenons later. The current beam spread pattern and cut-off is great, but the bulbs suck..I got them for Rs.50 each for testing purpose. Continuing using them for the time-being,

12)All four projectors use H3 type bulbs.
13)Been running them since Monday, didn't face any battery issues until now.

If water has really gone into the console, there's nothing much You can do actually..getting it replaced under warranty is the only thing you can do. The second best thing you can do is maybe detaching its connector, taking it indoors, and drying it thoroughly with a hair-dryer..which should be the last option in case you don't get a free replacement.

I opened my HL assy with a good quality hair dryer dude..you won't believe I actually went to the extent of buying a hair dryer solely for this purpose! And you can get the hot glue gun at Koti, Gujrati Galli.

There's a reason dude, the pilot lamps maynot be necessary anymore, plus it might make the whole setup look odd if the projectors are yellow and the LEDs are white, plus r "circles" in one eye maynot look good too. Plus on top of it all, it's still not a "thoroughly finished" project. I just posted it so that everyone knows it's possible for such a price, plus there were many people who were eager to see it.

Regarding the number plate, it's meant to be put there only..I don wanna play with Hyderabadi cops

I hope they do have the parts, and be very assertive with them. They should source the part for you.

It do work wonders. Especially for electronic circuits. Last time it was my mobile sitting insde a rice sack when it fell in to the fish tank. But had to do away with the whole sack of rice.
