heres my bike .. it's gimped for the lack of a digicam but it actually looks better than in the pics .. stunning really .. I don't want anyone copying any of the styles below.

    I prefer the uniqueness.

Here are a few more of my creations and all of them are copyright ME.

Agreed, climate and the huge 3000 ft. altitude difference will definitely have an effect on performance. But the bike should be tuneable to perform the same way in colder climate too.

My bike had been tuned thrice after I moved to Blore, so to say! But the moment I passed Vellore I could feel a difference, and in Chennai the bike was back to its usual rockety self!

I still wonder why I can't get the same performance here...even after tuning!!!

          • Some Yamaha R15 Specs nowhere??

Guys, I test drove Yamaha R15 recently ... Now, since there is no sign of 400/ 600 ... I'm considering it seriously ...

But, Some Specs are found NOWHERE?? Really!

NOT found in Magazines, Official Brochures, Websites:--> NOT EVEN XBHP?

            Like these:-->

            Front Disc Size,

            Rear Disc Size,

Brake Calipers (Single Piston or 2),

Chain Type (O Ring or X ring? I know X ring was not in India, but "R15" has or not) ...

So, can someone find out this data, which I can't find anywhere ?? With links/ proof if possible ...

I guess these specifications can easily be found on the User's Manual. Can some R 15 owner please post these specifications, here in this thread, please.
              :)

R-1-5 is already one of the most viewed/talked topic in xBhp so if someone has the answer then he will post it here only.

                      • Hey guys... got my first service done today... The bike now feels better.. The engine more composed and gears even smoother than earlier..

The best part was that i got the gear shift lever lowered, now it's a breeze shifting gears as compared to earlier..

Meanwhile, When I was there for the servicing an accident case had arrived.

Upon inquiry i came to know that the bike skidded on the gravel at very high speed and was dragged on the road along with the rider for a few hundred feet..

The rider fortunately is OK with some bruises and cuts but no serious injury..

Managed to take a few pics of the bike... Check them out...

                        Guys... Ride safe... ! ! ! !

Honestly the info you want is actually not available over the websites or links anywhere..i searched for it before i got mine too...but no help online.

once i got the babe...a verneir caliper is all that it takes.
front disc is 285/287mm couldnt bet on the exact diameter.(dual piston)
                            rear disc is 220mm(single piston)

the chain is an o-ring chain. and thats written in the manual.
Not at home right now but will post some pics for the info of the O-ring chain.
