  • well i also bought p200 2 months ago n iam very happy dat our p200 are exclusive bikes n even more dat i am going 2 upgrade my p200 engine to 220 dtsi,
    my p200 wil be faster than 220dts-i fastest
    you r what u r. dats da begning n d end! no apologies no regrets.!!!

      Guys i want the new p220's speedo background on my p200..
      But i went to my mechanic.. He says to change the whole console ...
      Pls tell me is there any other way ??

        Really doubt that u will get that background plate. think u have to go with him only!!!!

            i am seeing people discussing about engine mod for 200 to make it faster than the current 220 dtsi :S can someone throw more lite on it!!


            @dual disk : hey man how much the fork setup and clipons cost you??...
            i may think of switchin on to them if they add up to performance...

            also about Dual disk cost price.....
            and ya the K$N setup.. some people in the K$N thread are seriously regretting the mod.. if i do the same setup as yours.. do u think there won't be any issues...need help here...

            Although i am happy with my bike... its in stock state from the time of prchase... only thing is NGK..bbut any addon in BHP will be a welcome

              Dude, The fork and clip-on setup as on 220 will not add any sorts of performance and it's kust for a pure riding pleasure and btw it will cost somewhere around 7K+

              The rear disc will cost u about 10k, and K&N setup which i've done includes Upjetting and dosent give me any sort of trouble!

                phewww so i think the only thing i can afford rite now is K$N .

                u upjetted to 180'j 117.5 size rite with k$N 1060RC. wi'll ask the dealer here.. i hope the top whack betters how much is you top speed gone..

                  Top speed till now is 120 and i knew that something was stopping from further increments, so came down gradually!

                    hi, well most of the engine parts are same in 200 n 220 dtsi,

                    mods:need few parts frm 220, bore pistion kit,carb.
                    carm shaft of 200 need to be altered, sprokiting, k&n filter with proper jetting iredium sparks. voila 200 faster than 220 dtsi fastest.

                            yar bhai don't take it otherwise ^^^^^^ I was not here for 3 days so want to know the reason !!!!! but I still think stock things are better than the modification !!!!!because after a time those things are start creating problem

                              bhai we here have upgraded our engines of 150 to 180s n 200s sucessfully n one of our 150 raped r15s n commet in deccan 1/4 mile drag. so 200 upgraded to 220 will not create problem not even in long runs only if done correctly!!!!!

                              • @thaker1985: I still think yours was not a wrong decision-it will be exclusive now&IMO the 200 looks better than the 220&is more reliable.
                                Quench my thirst with gasoline!
