Baazi,if you go for 150CBR then it will save about 30k which you can spend on fuel....also it will be more fuel efficient then CBR250.you should wait for a while as it has not yet hit the rode and so online reviews are not available.keep checking magazines like Overdrive as they provide full detailed test review including proper mileage tests.Originally posted by Baazigar View PostHi Sachin!
I am actually stuck choosing between the 250 and 150 cbr! it all boils down to the pricing of the 150.
Any other new bikes coming in from Honda??
As for more new bikes, Yamaha is also coming with their 250cc bike...most probably Fazer 250cc i think.there few more like hyosung 250cc,and suzuki 250cc coming in second half of 2012.

i know ,but it is still skinny, considering its power to weight ratio is quite respectable, compared to passion or splendor.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostActually twister tyre is a bigger one comparing to other 100cc bikes. But it looks skinny in twister bcz of the bikes bigger bodyand the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

see if are strictly a city rider then choose 150 r.it has sharp handling as it is more track-friendly having less weight.honda always delivers what they claim about mileage,so you can expect 42-43.honda,i think will price it either less than r15 or in between r15 and duke.the only thing worries me is the torque figure which is lower than even unicorn.Originally posted by Baazigar View PostHi Sachin!

New Twist in My Life
New Twist in My Life... :-)
It's a 2nd two wheeler in my family after my dad's Bajaj Chetak(1994)..in the fourth Pic..
Check the facebook Album @
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=c261a7ba59
I just loved the bike..looks attractive...i have seen 3 problems after riding for 30 km today...
1. It is difficult to find neutral after stopping the bike..but when i switch it off using key & then i start it again..it goes easily on neutral..
2. Bike doesnt easilygo to 2nd gear from the 1st..I have to more pressure when i want to go from..1st to 2nd ..compared to other gears...
3. When i start bike using kick..kicker makes contact with right side foot stand & make 'thapp' noise..(where we keep our right foot while driving..)..is it okay??

By seeing your pics it's old tyre. In the first picture we can clearly see the side view of thread patternOriginally posted by sangy27 View Posthey...I forgot to take a pic..

as for your problems.. its not really problems but a matter of getting used to...
1. the neutral is between 1st and 2nd so yeah its a bit tricky to get .. but once you hav it u will be able to drop from 4th to NM eadily.. also wait a while bike is stilll running in , so all parts will b a bit edgy , will smoothen up in a while of riding..
2. same as above, give the engine more running time... infact you will require even lesser force to shift than for in Toe-Heel shifter.
3.this is the first time i hav noticed.. are you by chance referring to to rear foot peg ?? if so thats a prob with most bikes.. just close the peg whn no pillion. Also the bike usually starts before the kicker even reaches halk of the kick , so it should not be in was , yet there should be no contact between the kicker and the stand, it must just be your foot hitting the peg..!! so no worries there..
Just ensure to drive under 40kmph at ryt rpms and frequent oilchanges for teh first 2500kms for ideal engine maintainability and mileage

between Cbr150R or 250R .. hands down its 250R , but if you are fuel concious get teh 150R whn availabe, but note that a well maintained CBR250R gives 40-45 kmpl..(mine doesOriginally posted by sachin1111 View PostBaazi,if you go for 150CBR then it will save about 30k which you can spend on fuel....also it will be more fuel efficient then CBR250.you should wait for a while as it has not yet hit the rode and so online reviews are not available.keep checking magazines like Overdrive as they provide full detailed test review including proper mileage tests.

) and the CBR150R as tested on indian road gives 50-55kmpl... so the better deal all round turns to be the 250R..untill the 125R hits indian roads... and no othe 250CC matches the economy of the 250R and in every category the 250R wind hands down...

rajaselvam,100/90-17 is a bigger size..so Honda wont put that because stock tyre for Twister is 80/100,which is much smaller.. Now if you see other tyres in Tvs list there is one 2.75-17 as well as 3.00-17....I think the 3.00-17 matches closely to stock size.but unless the tyres are tubeless and same size.... honda wont put it.Originally posted by rajaselvam_1987 View PostTwister new rear tyre is look like this TVS tyre
TVS Tyres - Motorcycle > 100/90-17 REAR
I think if new ones are Tvs make then it must be 3.00-17 JUMBO pattern...as mentioned on Tvs website....if you look closely the threads are also matching.
michelin has now launched 3.00-17 52P REINF PILOT SPORTY....this size seems perfect to me because this size is nearly same as stock tyre but slightly smaller then 100/90-17.so it will not result in any mileage drop and since it has soft compound it will provide better grip then stock MRF. what you guys think of this?
