I once met a commuter on a traffic signal. He had 46's sticker on his bike just as I have. I asked him pointing to the sticker, "Valentino Rossi"?. He said no he doesn't know but he had seen the sticker on so many bikes and liked it and so got it on his bike.

Awesome read. Few players(rider) do become the face of the sport. All of my friends who dont follow motogp or never ever had seen a race have heard of Valentino Rossi. I hope more racers like him come to the motogp world but it seems impossible in the near future.Originally posted by Makky View Post

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

nothing to rejoice here, Rossi has been impressive on wet tracks even during the last season. I really dont understand the logic behind this. Anyway, hope it rains all weekend and Rossi stands on the podium
Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !

Correct. Rossi was good in the wet. I suppose WUP on raceday.
Hope we have a wet race, with pouring rain.
IMHO:- Rossi is good in wet cuz others all are really slow.(and I think friday practice no wants to take much risk pushing the bike. If QP.. they cud and race they wud. .
Yeah My point. I think this is Ducati's limit. When the track is dry everyone puts in great laptimes. And Ducati stays where it was
.
Also note that Rossi posted his fastest laptimes on the first Run. Second run he was doing some 1.53 (2 laps. I dunno) and third run 1.55 and Dani got 1.50 on his last run.
(Please dont shoot me down
)
P.S.But once I think they decided the grid position according to free practice cuz during qualifying it was pouring heavily)Ernest Hemingway

Apparently the reason why ducs are so quick in the rain is that, in the rain no bike is being pushed to its max. Electronics cuts the power by 20%. So the aggressive power delivery that Rossi and Hayden complain about is nullified.Originally posted by Braumabull View PostCorrect. Rossi was good in the wet. I suppose WUP on raceday.

Also no one will have awesome front end feel.
Everyone posted their fast times when the tires were new. Except Pedrosa. Bridgestone is coming under some serious flak.
Read this for some wonderful gyan

It was the only time he had problem in the wet otherwise he was always with the top order when it rained but unfotunately it rained only during the practice sessions. From Rossi's interview yesterday it is pretty clear that even he wants a wet session on sunday !Originally posted by Abhii46 View PostI hope it rains whole season
