Well, the engine was not showing any harshness so I thought it could be ok if I used it a bit more and kinda forgot about it! Lol. Shall change it this week.

Also at 7k kms I got knocking sound and I changed tensioner and the chain sprocket was also worn, it caused me sound while riding, So I changed it too, is it normal or anything wrong with my bike?

Welcome to XBHP Daniel.

Thank you for the kind words. Glad I helped you in some way. I'm running on MRF Zapper Q 110/90-18 on the rear and stock MRF Zapper FS 80/100-18 up front. Changed the front tire a couple of days back and rear 2 months back. Both are hard compound tires (well almost, for the rear). Though the rear tire I fit is a tube type, but the sidewalls and the tire as a whole is made of hard rubber, hence I don't think they are as prone to punctures as a Pirelli for that matter.

Do read the Karizma-r thread too for info on tires. Aamir bhai changed both tires on his ZMA and chose CEAT products. Also, look up the thread dedicated to tires on the forum.

Picture of the swingarm bush condition, the vibration had increased way too much and had no option but to replace the same.

Both bushes were jammed inside the swingarm (was told so by my mech), he says this is because of the water used to wash the bike, can someone please throw some light on this?

Using Ceat Zoom F and R, they are definitely medium compounds, and very grippy compared to earlier MRF. I'm happy with them so far.

If it was well greased, doubt it was a water issue. This may have however been due to rust build up over time and vibrations rubbing off material in the long run.
I have an odd wobbling issue, which pops up at times, I'm going to check if it's due to the swingarm or cone set soon.
Daniel16 - also check whether the rubber holders on the rear tyre (ones that go inside the alloy) aren't broken, if so, they will cause vibrations and a 'knocking' sound as well.

The only portion that this would fit into was the back of the visor, above the speedo. It does sit firmly but when you ride, even a slight bump makes it wobble sideways.
Then I found another part which lets you to fix it to the ac grills of the car. So I took this part and fixed it into the grooves present on the sides of the speedo and stuck it permanently there with m-seal and also quick glue to areas where m-seal could not reach.

Now all I need to do is plonk in the mobile holder to the grooves of the part which I had just stuck.

The right side holders are slided a bit down to allow the free moving of the handle bar. Now even a u-turn can be made without the handle bar touching the holder or the cell. Just went for a quick ride and was happy to note that the mobile does not vibrate much and even messages can be read clearly! But obviously that's not the application. Using the gps is now far more easy.

Thank you Divya Sharan for being so helpful.

One thing I would like to add is that Ceat is the only tyre company that bothered to respond to my queries and their senior manager in Gujarat himself took time off to guide me through options and compounds. They must deal in thousands of tyres, but such a response for the end user impressed me no end. I wrote Michelin with my queries about the Sirac Street and never got a reply so I crossed it off my list (that, and all the negative reviews).

The same thing goes for NGK, when I reported I was having issues with my G Power, the local rep for NGK arrived himself, helped me fit in the G Power, tested it etc. They even sent it back to the factory for testing where it came back with a clean chit. Again, the NGK representative here came over personally. Now, if for a simple spark plug, the company can help a person and take so much time, there is no doubt they do care about their users.

which bikes was Mobil1 FS used? any idea on the Oil Grade sir?
No the engine will not have a seizure...the Rimula contains high level of Detergents and ZDDP which is more than enough to protect the engine from having friction or lack of lube flow...in fact many have expressed surprise to see the oil in good color without burn deposits even after 1,500 Kms in the second change ,which I think is primarily due to the oil's ability...
The MOBIL 1 was FS 10w40.

Engine behavior vise, I would say that compared to the R3X the R4 managed to keep the vibes down for a longer period(about 150-200kms more)

Please do change it at the earliest and change Rimula at 2~2.5 K Kms at the most.

I drained R3X 3 times, once at 1k kms, 2nd at 1.2k kms and 3rd at approx 1.8k kms. Drain at 1k was futile as the oil was almost like new. Light brown.
OTOH, R4 had drain intervals from 1.5k to 2.2k kms. The engine starts getting harsh post 2k kms.

Comparing the same with AX7, it is good till 2.5k kms and post 3k kms, the motor becomes harsh. I suggested Sriram sir last year to move from Motul 7100 FS to Mobil1 when he was going on an AP/Odisha tour with Yuvraj/Jafar and clan.

Mobil1 FS 10w40 is an excellent oil and costs close to 900 rupees (may vary, my data is from last year) and lasts for a good 4k kms. At max 4.5k kms, but I don't prefer taking risks. Its highly recommended for serious tourers who'd be doing 2k+ kms on a single trip as carrying oil can be a pain. But mathematically, AX7 works out to be 30% cheaper and gives a good performance for a petrol engine oil.

Please drain the oil ASAP!

Surprising that you continued using the mineral oil for so long. You overshot the range by 100% already.

Did another 150 km highway ride today. Awesome. The bike feels rock-solid. Initially, @ around 200km, when I took out my bike for my 1st highway outing, it'd wobble horribly @ speeds of 70+. But, now after 1300km, it has become rock solid & feels firmly planted on the ground even @ 100+. The bike has become more vibration-free now. But, I wonder if it needed a 6th gear. One can feel too much screaming from the engine @ speeds of 100+. But, thats where the 223cc helps I guess.

Now, it feels like below 90 speeds are puny for this bike. 100+ is where it belongs to. Also, u don't know when u hit those speeds until u see the speedo. But, the ZMR does 115 with ease. After that, It'll take its own sweet time to reach higher speeds. Its like 116...117....118....119... Reached 121 kmph today.

Also, I heard that during cold temp., the bikes power output actually remains unharmed. While during hot temp, the bike's actual power o/p decreases. Is it true? That explains why I'm finding my ZMR to be extra powerful these days.

P.S.: Saw an R15 v2.0 rider stopping his bike on the side of the highway & stretching out his back & neck muscles while I zoomed past him. lol
