Sirac Street 3.00 x 18 works best for daily commuting (concrete & tar roads) as well as a bit on off roads. Would suggest you go for MICHELIN M62 Gazelle 2.75 x 18. I have them on 2 of my RX's. They work wondersOriginally posted by SriramEfunds View Post

Nice bike Sanjith. Go for a stock chrome fender like dualdisc said. your block seems to be painted silver without removing it from the engine. clean the block rubber dampers and remove the paint from them or get a new head and block rubber kit. Else almost everything is in order.
Your taillamp unit looks original and should be very old as the back plate of the light is chrome and not black and i havnt seen any in the last cpl of years. Take good care of it.1985 Yamaha RD350 HT

Thanks a lot Mr.dual disc(Sorry for using the username) May i know your real name?,yeah for sure i will be going for front plated mudguards, may be in next week. I'm in search for the right side spring of the carrier and if I'm finding the Helmet lock on the way, will get it for you..Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostBeautiful Sanjith. Thanks Nitesh, Yes ...stock chrome fender its there in my plan. Thanks for your other suggestions too, will take care of that too. The tail lamp is a very old one I suppose, Its written 'Rajdoot India' on that. And I have got a Side box which was sold with Rxs in 80s as extra accessory. Its not like ordinary side boxes, a very compact one. But I think side boxes are not at all necessary for RXs(not matching)..what do you think?. And I thought of changing the crash guard to butterfly one...but many suggested me to keep the present one, what they are saying is like, for black RX the straight rod is matching better.Originally posted by yamdoot View PostNice bike Sanjith. Yes, a butterfly guard always looks the best on any RX and yes the side box does not suit the RX at all!Originally posted by sanjithjoseph View Post
