how did u manage to do such a neat work? used varnish?

        I smell something wrong

With a fully charged battery it should not take more than 1A OK, but its taking 2.1A in full throttle that means its not fully charged and the charging rates are lower than required rate.

Another thing is, without battery APE RR wont give u more than 5-7V at RR out. How come u r getting 18V? Whats the AC voltage before the RR @ idle and full throttle?

If everything is correct and still u r low on charging rates then am afraid ur effort is going to be a waste of time & money with this puny alternator I guess I've shared this possibility with a small coil somewhere in the DC conversion thread.

this is d image of pulsar ug3 coil which i had got from Google search

i will open the old winding then i will do a new winding as i don't need ignition coil
U can't swap the coil with another one as the alternator is designed to work with other standard parameters which is not matching with ur ride.

          sajjt,
i think battery is not fully charged its only medium or more than medium but less than full as i know about the rr the charging rates decreases as the battery charges, the ac voltage before rr is 12v at idle and at full throttle it is 76volts with 6 amps...connections r correct.....my battery is 9amps....and i am running hid without any battery discharge problem...horns and self r also working fine....

Phew.... what a relief.. Good to know that its fine. But how come u got a voltage of 18 which will surely affect the battery life? Check once again the readings. That may be wrong readings.. Run the HID for 3-4 mins when the engine off and take the charging rates.

sajjt one problem came the copper end of coil which i had soldered r now open because of heat from engine the soldering material melted so the wire disconnected and charging stopped now tomorrow is Sunday also, i will try to open the stator cover by myself....now this time i will get the soldering done by a Electrician.......

sajjt also tell me plz that y i can't use pulsar coil there is know difference other than the poles there r 8 in pulsar and 5 in pep so whats the difference other than pole

u need to convert to full dc as there is single wire for headlight & pilot lamps which comes from coil to regulator and then to switch(headlight) no different wire r there if u will reroute the wire through battery then pilot as well as headlight will be on battery.....

The melting point of soldering lead we usually use is above 180 degree C and cannot be melted by the heat from the engine or the oil in it.
Recheck everything and ensure that the coil is not grounded to the stator plate. Measure the AC form the coil to the RR and the DC output from it at various rpm, without and with load.

Find out the wire from the RR to the pilot light switch in the wiring harness, disconnect it and connect to the battery.
But what betterment are you expecting by adding at least 10 watts load to the battery while most others are trying to reduce it in their AC/DC bike?

Its my friend's glamour,He is now using 9smd leds in it and each led is failing every week due to AC,ie varying current,So planning to change it to dc so that he can avoid failing of led's.

Would like to know why are you using Verdana font.

yes i was also thinking the same but i had not checked the coil about what is wrong and will open the stator cover by day after tomorrow as today was Sunday no mechanic i could find an tomorrow is Monday i have to do some imp work so i will get it opened by day after tomorrow....... and will tell about what was wrong in it............and ac output from d coil is 12volts at idle and 76volts with 6amps at full throttle

if u know then plz tell me that y i can't use pulsar's coil whats the difference other than poles......

                            thanks

12-75 volt AC with 6 ampere current? How did you measure it?

Simply because others are using verdana. No other reasons.
