    Post a picture of the stator coil so that we can confirm if rewinding is not necessary.
    Here is a pic of the coil partly rewound by adernaline

    • No need to rewind coils for 35watt HID ,just make the bike full dc and it should be enough.

      • I saw a 7ah ups battery for rs 550 but i really wonder how can it fit where a puny 2.5 amp battery sits ... seemed like a good deal. and rs 428 for a pulsar rr i can mange that..I fixed up an led array today that runs off the battery ruffly draws 0.2 -0.25 amps. It gives me enough for city rides. but a dcfied cbz would b nice ... later on a hid...

        • Also I was Wondering Instead of the pulsar rr and doing something like http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/desi-bik...ic-all-dc.html i add a separate fast changer circuit ?the only problem is the out put from the stator is around 15v ac? Fast Charger with Auto cut off Its designed for 5-7 amps.

          • I just disconnected my battery and connected my meter in place of the battery... at idle (cold start) i was getting 4.5amps at reeving at around 5k (i cant say exactly since the rpm meter does not work with out the battery) i was getting 7.5-8 amps at the battery terminals.

            • Guys now i'm using single Roots Megasonic Horn & 35W HID on my Honda CB Twister. But my problem is when using both HID & Horn the horn sounds too weak.
              I asked about this to electrician he quote 2k for electrical mod.
              That includes 5amp Battery , RR Change,Battery case modification, can i go for this?

                  Ac/Dc bike getting 4.5 amps at idle and 9 amps at 2/3rd throttle
                  How did you measure it ? Is that DMM good ?
                  I seriously doubt your readings Pls check the readings once again and also try cross-checking your readings by using two or more meters.

                  @All
                  Does a cbz classic also have a RR similar to Unicorn where the RR splits the current into ac and dc depending upon the load ?

                    What are the charging rates (Amps)?
                    Was your bike under warranty when you tried this mod ?

                      suggested mods (any one will do)
                      * higher amp battery (5 or 7)
                      * rewind + RR change

                      Ac/Dc bike getting 4.5 amps at idle and 9 amps at 2/3rd throttle

                            How can his electricals be fully stock when he is usin a HID and a roots horn ?

                            35 watt hid is draining the battery.
                            Option you have for this issue are.
                            Option 1.(Dose'nt last long if only night riding done)
                            New 5/7 Amp-hour battery

                            Option 2 (Recommended)
                            New Pulsar UG4 RR + Coil un-grounding + New 5/7 Amp-hour battery
                            Cost 450 + Free if you are doing it + Rs.1300-1500/-

                            • i meant to ask if the electrical setup was stock, i.e. full DC on factory setup.
                              if its full DC on factory setup & considering its not ZMA/R15, you can follow Shoeb mamu's suggestion :P

                                Well even i was shocked... but i think i read it wrong as i disconnected my battery ... im guessing it should be in series with my battery ? again this is a cheap meter its quite likely wrong.. I was reading on bcmtouring where few users used a 7ah ups battery in their pulsars with no issues. What is the correct way of checking the amp output ?
