this is my circuit it is working fine i had tested but some loud noise is coming from ballast i don't know y it is coming, i had tested diodes out volts with mm the volts were 11.15......when i connected the MM directly to the output of BCu than volts were 12.88 now by this it means that the diodes are lowering the voltage by around 1.38 i think due to this noise was there..........everything was working on stock switches.........

Remove the diodes & use my circuit. My circuit will serve the purpose efficiently. Last time it didn't work because you could not make the circuit properly.

            Edit:
Here's your circuit bro... Use 2 SPST relays.
For low beam, say relay 1:
W1 - tap from the low-beam wire from the BCU
W2 - connect to the low beam socket in the h/l bulb
            W3 - GND/-ve

For high beam, say relay 2:
W1 - tap from the high-beam wire from the BCU
W2 - connect to the low beam socket in the h/l bulb
            W3 - GND/-ve

Hope this helps, if headlamp sockets are H4 then this mod should work just fine & you'll be able to run your HID on stock switches.
Can you please describe it in layman terms? I would like to have a circuit such that:
            > HID is installed in low beam (P220)
            > HID shouldn't go off when pass switch is used.
            > However, when the high beam is on (by high/low toggle switch), the HID can be switched off. (Don't need a dual headlight setup)

Also, for installing the HID, do we need to do any alteration? By rough idea is to connect the ballast-in wire to the stock low beam plug. Can that be done?

going to test my circuit with this type of diode i think this would work as it is lowering the volts by 0.17 only and older one was lowering about 1.36 or more.....

                • Today i got added Extra Rectifier which costs me only Rs.200 + 50Rs labor. Now my battery is getting charge well. Now my 4A horn is not crying even at idle.I didn't measure the charging Rate after the installation of Extra RR. Will update the charging rate 2mrw.

Please check the total output by both the RR.
Which RR did you use ?
Custom made or just a rectifier without regulator ?

Don't worry,He is very confident with his circuit.
Let him try and when it doesn't work he will come back. That is the way everyone learns,Including myself.
(BTW Where is the circuit ? I only see a high power Schottky rectifying diode)

no its working but some sounds are coming from ballast.........
turn to 89 page u will find the circuit...
i will try doing it by using Germanium Diodes then i think the sound would not be there as Abhijeet said Germanium Diodes consume 0.3v.......

I thing that's only a rectifier, Ya sure i'll update the output details soon.

So are you rectifying the regulated AC current from the headlight to the battery ? Or Directly from the coils ?
Rajaselvam just make sure the voltage at batt terminals is less than 15volts even at high rpm or you risk blowing something.

                            Dear All,

Can we can change the winding of P150 UG3 Stator (7 open poles) from:

Stock type - 3 poles for charging the battery (routed to battery through stock RR) and 4 poles for lighting (routed to battery through Ape RR).
                            TO
Mod Type - Continuous winding on all 7 poles for charging the battery (using Ape RR)

                            Waiting for your reply guys.

Thanks Man. Need to do that now.

I have stock type winding with 19G wire. Its damn headache checking the readings at two points.
And I've screwed up the wire at some point in a pole. There's no continuity.

Edit: Does anyone know whats the max amp output of Ape RR?
