I am getting a Airoh Dragon Star. Any one with a Airoh helmet comment on the quality and weight in general? Thanks.

What color combination have you chosen?
Almost similar specs to SparX except for an additional DOT approval.

The Daijya was about 1600 g and haven't weighed the SparX yet though it feels half as heavy. But could be in the range of 1200-1300g.

Thanks for that info shubz. I am not sure on the color. Depends on what is available in stock(Red,blue or grey).

Airoh is good, very good. I am using it, Airoh Speed Fire (the basic model of the line up). but its amazingly good. go for it

What I know KRP stocks Index helmets but you can call them beforehand, and yes Chopra also stocks Sparx now, might try there too. Check the size and then you can order through PRS.

. I even realized that my whole head to could roll inside the helmet. lol (i had inadvertently picked up an oversized shell) - that was the Daijya story.

Fits beautifully. Did enough homework before asking the shop guy to get me the particular size (M). DOT/ECE certifications embossed on the shell. cheek pads can be removed and put back. eye brow vents, vent just below the visor. both of which can be opened and shut. and an extra visor (dark), ear plugs, a set of stickers (1 reflective X). double D chin fastener. No idea yet about noise levels, though I have heard good reviews from users of SparX out here. And yes - my opinion - it is the best in that price range I could find.

Yes, this is exactly what I am going to do, call up KRP, Mahalaxmi and Chopra, ask them if its available and then pay them a visit, find out what size fits me best and then order it through PRS.

Sparx nemesis

For starters i love the graphics,no bright colours still attractive,padding is plush and comfortable,air vents work very well especially the brow ones.Really cant tell about windnoise compared to other imported ones, because only other helmets i have used are ninja 2g and boolean,compared to those two its a lot silent.
Only thing i dont like is the visor removal,its not that smooth have to apply a bit of force and makes sounds like its going to crack.

According to me best below 10k helmet you can buy in India.

and yeah, i saw some posts here about the wind noise, i have used LS2 and Daijya, and airoh makes much lesser noise than both of them. but still not totally noiseless. and its more stable too go for it

although Sparx is an amazing helmet, Airoh Speed Fire gives you more bang for your buck, in my personal opinion now Airoh Speed Fire is a better option than Sparx & KBC.

100% agree with you on that. SparX is priced a tad (just a wee bit) higher out here. but definitely not overpriced for its kind.
