No, because it runs on DC. But, it should support a 60/55 because the battery can act as a reserve. Try it out and see.

          • Thanks for all the replies to my lighting woes guys. I got the right side bulb connected to the left side one for the low beam, its made my life much easier now. Have put the Osram NB plans on hold for now.

EDIT ^^ PRATIK - you could try this approach before getting a NB.

thanx for the suggestion but bro i already tried it out, but its of least help for me as i drive alot at night and this with stock 35/35W does not serve the purpose in addition to that the right side reflector is,nt optimized for low beam. Since you don't have to use more of the high beam as per your prior post so good for you bro. Plz update me if you upgrade to other bulbs or anything that shall improve the lighting...

Go for HID on any one of the reflectors.

                  • ^^ P4, Bosch, Phillips are some of the reputed brands. They come with 1 yr warranty, but are generally available in pairs. As, I have not actually bought any of these, maybe others can give a better idea.

                            • Performance will be good. But the light may dim slightly below 3k rpm. Other than that, its all good!

Even after fixing cut out, the problem was not solved... Neither did it, after introducing another switch between the HID adapter and battery (previously switch was between adapter and bulb). I feel royally f****d up! Now I don't have all the time on the earth to research and convert the electricals to DC by myself. Have to wait till I find a reliable mechanic....
