  • R15 has both lights on in Hi beam, from the factory. Only the low beam is single light.

R15 will support it no doubt, I was talking about the FZ shown in the pic. It may or may not support the load though!

but i have seen many R15 (this days almost all of them in my city), who do mods of running both halogens at same time with out any battery draining i donot know HOW??
Stock R15 runs 1 headlight (Left) on low beam. On high beam, both the headlights are on..
Some OWNERS have altered the electric circuit, to have both headlights on, even in low beam..

      My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

no Circuit nothing... just get abt 40 cm wire and connect the two HL connectors for the low beam to work on both the lights...

You mean the second connector too has low beam bulb built in? Both bulbs are H4?

So far we have not faced any issue on the FZ nor the R15 .

Earlier ppl use to say that the HID wont work on the R15 some ppl reported battery drain some ppl reported that the reflectors melted . Its been a year since the hid was installed on my bike and so far no issues if the HID quality is good and the installer has some common sense its more than enough .The hid should work properly.

Currently working on . will keep you guys updated.

yes. it is just that the RHS light doesn't have a wire connecting it's low beam connector.

                    Last week installed a HI / LOW 4300k H4 hid on shark80s FZ16 ( Roshan )

The HID is just mind blowing .

                    Low beam - 1 filament
                    High beam - 2 filaments

Check the bulb it requires 2 ballasts . Its expensive but its worth it.

Roshan please do leave your comments

I could manage to get only one pic right . Will post some more pics later once roshan sets the beam right as per his requirement.
Navnish, HID bulb doesn't've any filaments, HID works on high voltage arcs, which produces the ballast.Pic shows that u've got dual xenon it requires 2 ballast per one unit of bulb as one each bulbs are dedicated to High and low beam. But I don't understand why did u go for that as u can get the same effect with a bixenon HID with a solenoid? Unless u are modifying ur electricals to light up both only u'll get a double xenon effect, which I feel its too much for both for driver as well as the oncoming traffic as you've installed in the stock reflector. U have a problem of flashing high and low beam as normally we will be running with any of these beams and when u flash to high/low ur bulb takes time to warmup and ineffect you will get u r not getting the desired effect. Am I right Navnish? And more over, once u switching back to the H/L beam, the bulb might not've been cool which in turn it reduces the bulb life. Its a thumb rule that to avoid the fast on/off in HID to get the bulb life and the colour deterioration will be more fast. Thats why people r opting for HID with solenoid as only one bulb, but the solenoid makes it H/L beams. Ofcourse, the dual xenons beam is better as the both bulbs are placed in proper angles whereas Bixenons beam is not as good as Duals. One more thing, everytime u switch between H/L in dual xenon, a good amt of current is drawn from batt so its a real strain for a bike batt as its designed for 4 wheels.

Ur bike is a full DC one?

Yes its an arc and not a fillament. been speaking to too many ghaati public so that fillament word comes out . Neways.

Yeah agreed that the dual one is a over kill but if used properly it does its job better than the bixenons. I never liked the bi xenon as i never saw a good quality one at affordable pricing .

Dude i sell hids i have all the different hids. The motorized bi xenons i had were not impressive so i never promoted it .I have the dual ones and the single ones to make life simple.

                      yeah my bike is DC.

Do u have retrofit projector H4 kits? if so pls let me have it as am looking for one with HID for my Pulsar.

I dont have a retrofit for h4 man. Trying to work out something with a headlight manufacturer . if it works out there should be a projector solution for every bike. fingers crossed.
