Even if it decreases, I don't think that the difference will more than any negligible value....
It's not about the fork alone!! If I am not wrong, Overall bike would be little small as compare to previous TBTS so chances are there of increasing average too!! But then too it won't matter much!!

But still an increase or decrease by 2kmpl would also matter to people who are buying it for daily ride with comfort!!

2kmpl decrease too much just due to slightly heavier forks. If that is the case, simply remove saree guard and/or rear seat for compensating weight gain

If you want comfort on worst roads, and also want good FE, why buy RE? Why not buy Impulse?
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

For me Impulse would be straight No! I could have gone for Bajaj Avenger but i would prefer with RE. And with average i don't mind an average of 35-40kmpl with classic and 350cc engine/torque/comfort. Where as Impulse is not that type.

I haven't ridden impulse and don't know about highway stability of impulse and pillion weight..etc!!

I was going for RE with it's all pros and cons, Just wanted to have one RE!!

BTW I am in procedure of Cancelling my CL350 booking as i am inclined to HD 883 more now. One and last bike for me!! untill some thing better than it in my reach!!

Amen to that. Impulse is like a 2-wheeled SUV. Really big too. If only it was made by Honda itself in India (instead of the current situation where nobody knows what is going to happen to that bike for sure), it'd be a lot more enticing

RE is a tourer bike and comfortable too!! But RE is not yet upto that level which we can accept it. I just wanted a RE so was about to buy it, after such paining waiting period with idiot SVC and tech, i thought why to waste money in such bike just for name sake ???

So planned dropped ! HD came into picture. I am in no hurry recently brought a second Car so mu usage of bike would be less!! And I am very happy R15 owner!! So would buy HD superlow in coming years!! may be 2-3 yrs as it is 6L - 6.5L

And this would be my last bike and forever bike!!

Nice nice! Wasn't Superlow priced lower though at 5.5L or something ? Anyway, this would definitely be one of those bikes you can proudly call your "last bike". Top speed is not highest (~160-ish) but high enough for Indian roads. Insanely high reliability and extra long life of the long stroke 883 Evolution engine. And unlike some companies (that I don't need to name) who are extremely snobbish about their products and act like they are gods and people will buy their products anyway, Harley-Davidson takes good care of its customers

Those who are concerned about 2 kmpl change should never go for a RE or those who go for RE will never be concerned about 2 kmpl change...

ummm... second one sounds good isn't it !??

2kmpl is ok but according to this there s a mileage indicator in that Digi console. And in one snap it shows Avg 22. Now thats something to be concerned about
And I am not sure if its a mileage indicator or avg speed indicator as I couldnt make out if it was 22 kmph or l

Yeah but what confused me is that review; they have written it in that article as a mileage indicator.
Anyways just got to know that the movie is scheduled to launch in Nov
Not sure if RE will launch it on Oct 11 as planned earlier. Cant wait anymore !

Movie has nothing to do with launch I believe. At the most, it may serve as extra publicity but RE has always sold their bikes on their own charm and the fact that they have zero competition.
