washed bike and found spider webs with spiders, an insect which came out of the panel of my bike, the webs were very strong compared to normal webs of common spiders...
wat should i do to keep insects away???i stay in cypress so near the forest
dnt knw appropriate thread so posting here..

Start charging the insects for the ride. I am sure soon you'll get rid of most of them except for most stubborn freeloaders :P

If you are not using a bike frequently it will cause the same, I have tried keeping a small packets of tobacco tied in a cotton cloth over the engine but this was used for my car and for keeping the Rats away and wola it worked! . I believe this should work for insects too! I don't know how to execute this for 2 wheels and the in case if you do please share the results and execution steps :thumbup:

use Hit spray to keep insects @ bay
on a more serious note, if u pressure wash ur bike 2 times a month & handwash it daily / alternate days, u will have less of these parasites on the machine.
also, if u commute over it & park it under the sun, that itself will repel such happenings.
formal pest control treatment for cars, do exist... but for bikes... not yet

btw the people in my apartment look at me like i am mad when m washing my bike, now when i go around the bike spraying this citrus thing it will confirm their doubts...haha

It's okay same thing happens with me, I first wash my c3 for hour and half and then Rx 135 straight for an hour, back to back Atleast for rainy days, people look at me like why he love them so much, but they don't know they are like kids to me and chrome just shine like a charm on both for C3 Atleast till Monday evening

Yeah, even JVLR was almost traffic free today even at peak time. Wish I too had holiday today.
