  • [QUOTE=n_aditya;478504]Keep an eye on this thread for updates. Generally the rides are on weekends like fri night or sat / sun mornings. Off late due to the rains, there is less activity, hence you didnt see any action here. But rides do happen and details get updated here.

P.S. Avoid the sms lingo hommie. Its not easy to read. QUOTE]

Yeah. Sure Aditya. Thanks for updating me about the rules of this forum. I agree, discipline is important everywhere (just like while riding in a group). Will definitely keep myself updated on this thread. Hope to see you guys soon.

    • Hey Guys,

Need help from R15 owners in Hyderabad or banglore.
I'm planning to put the R15 Fairing to my P220. I'm done with stocking most of the parts except for a few minor ones.

I just need to buy a few nuts, bolts and clamps of the R15 from Yamaha Service center.
The prob is the service center guy is not willing to give those to me as i don't own a R15.

If any of you guys are willing to buy those parts or just enquire if they'll let me buy the parts whenever you visit any yamaha service center, i'll be more than thankful.
I'll give you the part numbers and the quantity of the parts i need.

Kindly let me know if you are willing to.
Preferably @ the Service Center near Forum.

            • Its been more than a week since my last ride on the ninja. Last weekend i was out of town so the bike was resting peacefully at home.

Hopefully the weather stays dry tomorrow as I will be riding out tomorrow morning.

Thinking of riding to Horsley Hills which is a 177km ride (one way). Anyone wants to join in, please let me know so I can fix the meeting point and time.

Can anyone confirm the road condition (route map below)? Thanks.

              • The route is appropriate
From KR Puram to Hoskote, the roads are in bad shape, with lot of construction work goin on on NH-4.
Hoskote to D-cross decent roads, with odd poth-holes.
after D-cross roads are in good condition, although single lane.

That was quick. Thanks a ton Snapppy.

Where is this D-Cross? What speeds can I ride at on this road past hoskote where the road condition improves? If i can manage around 120kmph then I'm happy.

BTW, Ark (aka Reggie) confirmed that he is joining me. Anyone else comin along?

@Nisarg - where art thou? vanished without a trace !!!

                  • Np... I wish i could join you, but hav a different plan.

D-cross is between Hoskote and chintamani.
I would suggest u take a different route till D-cross.
Go on NH-7 till devanahalli, get inside the devanahalli town and then there is road which takes you to D-cross from there. The roads are in far better shape in this route, and im sure u'll enjoy.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
