Now to my information their are various types of boots. Also some military boots which armymen use they use it for various purposes like drilling time, field work. I am telling about the high ankle ones which they wear and use it in marshland, normal gravel roads, in water, ice and all.
That one only and they are pretty good and comfortable while riding.

I used them in my Leh trip and they were very comfortable. Since it was high ankle boots it was very easy to strap on tightly which save dmy feet many times from cold chilling water and from ice too.
And moreover I consider these boots in my Jugaad section.

And the Main riding boot which I mentioned is Orazo boots.
Google them and you will see, they are pretty good.

PS: all above mentioned boots are mainly used for touring, riding and trekking and they are not meant for tracks.
Saquib bhai, I was also talking about the same boot. I have one of them at my native.

But, does it have strap?

The one which I have seen has lace. Never saw military boot with strap.

Hello everyone
I have recently shifted to Bangalore from jodhpur and had some queries in mind. Hope you guys will be able to help. This post might turn out to be a little lengthy so For your convenience I'll put them down in points-
1) Xbhp Bangalore has been one of the most active , and i wish to join you guys for the next G2G. But looking at the recent posts I'm in a fix now, i have a relatively good helmet and riding jacket, but left my gloves back home when i moved here. I fear I'll be ridiculed or sent back if i join you like this. So basically my question is can i join on the next G2G without gloves?

2) I'm in Bangalore for a short stint of 3 months. somewhere on the forum i read that one doesn't need a NOC for first three months. Do i need to procure the NOC,or can i do without it? I do have the parcel receipt as a proof of arrival with me.

3) also recently i observed the front disk pad rubbing against the disk when the lever is not depressed. I know this should go in the ownership thread but I'm not asking for a solution , but the best or relatively better Bajaj service centre. I own a P200NS and I'm putting up in domlur.

P.s.- not to flatter but this is THE most active G2G thread on xbhp.

Welcome to bangalore!! Enjoy your stay, ignore the trafic jams

2) I'm in Bangalore for a short stint of 3 months. somewhere on the forum i read that one doesn't need a NOC for first three months. Do i need to procure the NOC,or can i do without it? I do have the parcel receipt as a proof of arrival with me.

AFAIK- NoC is needed when you are registering the bike in another state, karnataka motor vehicles act was amended in 2013 and requires you to re register to KA if you are going to stay here for more than 6 months. While the central motors vehicle acts has this at 1 year.

Just to be safe carry your transport recipt as proof also if your here on work carry your comnay ID or a letter from them that saya your here on temporary asingment. It may help you haggle your way thru.

Ensure you read the act and memorise its section some cops will insist you should have paid the road tax be polite and smile " and say yiu read the KMV it says only if am here more than 6 months its needed so dont worry i will go back next month"

Just remember that they deal with like 100plus people in a day and are a frustrated lot, dont argue if you sense trouble say just to put a minimum fine of 100 and let you off. That the last resort. Other wise be ready to spend few wasted hours to get off with a clean slate.

Bht now a days they are not catching inless your riding is reckless or you break any rule.

Welcome to Bangalore mate and a warm welcome to the xBhp Bangalore chapter .

1. I would like to start with the gloves thing first. Since you do have gear and for the time being you do not have gloves with you, yes you are pretty much welcome to join us in the next G2G which is coming up in Feb. Also, since you mentioned that you already have gloves but left it back home, you could go for a pro-biker golves to use temporarily during your stay here. Again, you would be more than welcome to join our G2G. Watch this space to know the details of the upcoming G2G ride. Please note that this coming Sunday, 2nd Feb, the xBhpians of Bangalore are meeting each other at a cafe at 06:30 pm (details you would be getting if you scroll up couple of pages). Do drop in if possible so that we can meet and chat over a cup of coffee . Again, welcome mate!

2. No, you do not need NOC if you are staying for 3 months in Bangalore. Only when you are transferring your bike for more than 3 months, you need to have NOC. So the information which you have is correct.

3. You could visit the Bajaj Service centre (Khivraj Motors) in Indiranagar (near Domlur flyover, opposite to BBQ Nation) and have your vehicle checked.

There is a service center in Bhanashankari II Stage who are the best in servicing the Bajaj Bikes. They are the authorised Probiking Service center from Bajaj.

Below is the address and also link to have an idea on the location.

Auto Service, 37, 28th Cross, Industrial Area, Near-BDA Complex, Banashankari 2nd Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

Time to discuss and plan our next G2G ride. Fellas, kindly pour in suggestions about probable places we can go for a ride to. My suggestion is lets not plan some place that is very common and most of the riders know. I guess after last couple of successful G2Gs, the time has come for us to shift the gear. Lets plan something out of the box.

Expected G2G ride day is mid Feb.

Suvra da, how about Antargange?? Hoping many new members joining in for this ride as seeing the activity in FB closed group also, so this can be a viable option, a short ride and also on way back we can eat at Woodys on Kolar road.

Also me and Divya Sharan were talking about a combined ride this time, xBhp Bangalore+NW Bangalore+YRC??? how about this??

All suggestions are opened, and lets keep it on 9th Feb!!
