Also, I can see from the photo that chain links are appearing in crooked fashion. Now check them again, do they still look in crooked fashion? If yes, that means both rear and front sprocket are not colinear, this will wear out the chain and both sprockets faster.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
No prob. You might have a question why the slackness is necessary, right? Well, it's necessary because the distance between both front and rear socket keeps changing whenever you site on the bike, have a pillion, ride through potholes. So that extra slackness is necessary to make up for the extra distance. If you don't keep the slack, the chain will suffer from extra tension when you put weight on the seat. Furthermore it can also damage rear suspension.Originally posted by Vikram Vijaykumar View Post

FZ's looking like a young boy, very impulsive and hasty... whereas P180 is looking like a "MATURE" male with sensibility, technique and a calm temperament but also saying "DONT TAKE ME EASY... ESPCIALLY WHEN I'M ANGRY... "Originally posted by Taahir View Postcomment guys...!!
my p180 & my best frnd's fz16s.......!!!
No Offences to FZians but somehow I don't like it though its engine refinement and styling are beautiful... but when it comes to owning an FZ... I don't get the feel... The only thing that I find really good is the rear tyre it really gives good grip on the road..
@Taahir Bro even the Font of our numbers on the no. plate match...

@ lockhrt999: Thanks man...u seem to have a sea of knowledge. Will re-check the crooked part of the chain....One more thing..the lighting is awful in our bike...I asked a SC guy he told its not worth it to go for the projector of 220....so I am confused and itching to go for a china made HID....whats ur take on that?

fzs is very very silent and doesnt give the feel of power.
driving p180 even at 50-60 gives you a feel of satisfaction.
My friend himself says that he enjoys my bike more than his, because it gives a racing instinct which yamaha bikes fail to give, except r15 above 6k rpm...
hey post pic of ur bike also...!!Last edited by Taahir; 11-01-2013, 07:53 PM.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
Yeah get an HID with projector though. Buy an HID of only 4300K. I also thinking of fitting them on my bike. Current setup of 55W holgen is literally draining the battery.Originally posted by Vikram Vijaykumar View Post@ lockhrt999: Thanks man...u seem to have a sea of knowledge. lockhrt999: Just checked HID without projector Rs.1300/- and with projector Rs.2300/- both chinese made HID....The guy at the shop says that there is no warranty....Dont know whether they are 4300K...
By the way 4300K is the power of the HID Bulb right?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
4300 Kelvin is the temperature (or color) of the light. Mostly the guys at shop have 6000k or 8000k type of HID bulbs. 6000k/8000k is a bluish white color which makes the bike totally useless in rainy and foggy seasons (trust me) and not to mention that color is cop magnet too, that color is reserved for slum people only. 4300k on the other hand is very much like sunlight and it's great because 4300k provides maximum lumens (means maximum liters of light possible). You can also try 3000k which is very much like our current yellow halogen.Originally posted by Vikram Vijaykumar View Post@lockhrt999: Just checked HID without projector Rs.1300/- and with projector Rs.2300/- both chinese made HID....The guy at the shop says that there is no warranty....Dont know whether they are 4300K...

Above 5000k you get cool colors and below that you get warm colors.
Power draw will be the same 35W. If you're fitting them, it will void the warranty of bike. Relay and high gauge wiring are must for the longevity of both HID system and bike electricals.
Rates seem to be fine.
Remember if you go for just HID now, you can't just simple add projector later. Because with projector you need different type of HID system. For best possible light illumination projector is a must.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 180 (All Versions)
Sure, when I'll fit them I will put up a detailed DIY about it and I'll most likely buy a pair from china directly. But there's a lot time for that.Originally posted by Vikram Vijaykumar View Post@lockhrt999: Thanks for the Info man will check those HID's tomorrow.
