I am in a dilema to choose from P150 and P180.
            Please help me out.

Also, is there any near upgrade plans for both versions? I am expecting a digital clock on the speedo, it is very useful for long drives to see the time.

I was in the same dilemma when I was purchasing my first bike. Apparently many advantages of P180 took me out of that dilemma. Both bikes are still great buy now but they are on their way of discontinuation. If you buy one of there now it might be one of the last.

Yes, digital clock is expected on P150,P180 replacements as console should be same from P200NS. I too miss this feature on current gen pulsar.

Discontinuation... that news is giving me goosebumps... apni gadiyon ka kya hoga...??? what about the spare parts from Bajaj coz i've seen this that Bajaj completely shuts down things things related to rides it discontinues... I have suffered it with our 1998 scooter Bajaj Legend... its was discontinued just after (approx.) 3 years after its launch... so that's fearing me out...

I don't think Bajaj will discontinue the pulsar spare parts. And it's not like Bajaj is going to replace it anytime sooner.

Really can't understand the condition of the spark plugs from these pictures. It's not low resolution, you're holding spark plug too near to the camera and that's why they appear out of focus.
I think they look whitish, which means the bike running lean AFR. But prajwal said carb is tuned on the rich side so they should have been somewhat charcoal black. It's really complicated.
Maybe your bike needs good tuning, before tuning do clean carb (using spray method) and air filter, you can get them cleaned from mechanic.

After cleaning them, take a screw driver and close the the AFR screw totally. Turn it anticlockwise 2.5 turns for starters and tune further from there.

Dear friends, Has anyone got an extra piece of white-dial instrument cluster of P-180 for sale. I would be interested in buying the same for an experiment of converting the back light from orange to blue. Please PM me in case you have one.

So when is the new upgraded P150/P180 expected to launch? Any news on this? Please confirm.

Too lean also won't return good average.
Just wondering, do you guys live in very dusty area?

Your best bet would be finding it hear > pulsar or second hand market in your city.

There's no news on this. It could easily take from 1 month to 1 year. no one knows. You're not losing anything if you buy current P180 now because it's considered to be one of the most refined pulsar (barring P200ns of course). Also it has the biggest petrol tank, more masculine design and non-tiring handling for highway. Future pulsar won't have these features.

Ok lockhrt999. Backpains and hand pain is not observed in pulsars?
Also, how reliable the pulsars are ? Some say that after using it for 2 years, it will be gone ? Is that true ?

Back pains are there but no hand pain. I feel my p150 is refined upto certain rpm bur after that it is all in its pulsar character for which it is known for. And it is all on rider how he maintains his bike be it bajaj yamaha or honda all are affected if not maintained well. I have both honda and bajaj. Dazzler Dio and pulsar. I have completed 22000km in 1.5 year (pulsar) it is running well and giving me something around 50. So it is about how much km ridden and how well maintained not about years. I often go to short trips with my pulsar and sometimes with my dazzler. I am happy with both.
