Do you open the choke before starting every time in the winter? If you're facing starting issue every winter that means you're not kind to your bike! You're not pulling choke and not the bike is running at optimal AFR.
Not only it's little difficult to start engine when it's cold but also batteries aren't efficient when they are cold.
I never ever had any starting trouble even when it's 7 degrees outside and the bike hasn't been used for more than 15 days, it still started at first crank.
If the battery is dead, then the starting coil makes entirely different sound when you try to crank. The sound is like crrrr crrr.
There shouldn't be any oil on spark plug. If there is, then I guess you're facing a bigger issue my friend and that issue won't go away even if you change the spark plugs.

, I will give it to Bajaj service center and let's see what they have to say, whether is it a battery or a spark plug.

and that's really scary and annoying too... and does not happen in any other pulsar... now I wont be describing the sound coz I will be crowned as the King of Onomatopoeia...

and i'll be charging a very minimal amount as the royalty amount for this idea...
