Fewikwik never works whenever it is applied on some part which is a stressed. since airbox is connected to the carb which is connected to the engine, the viberation itself will shake it loose and add to that the cark will always be pulling it.

To be honest is even doubt that Mseal will handle that kind of stress. silicon adhesive might hold it but i am not sure what rubber based solution you are referring to? there are some PVC pipe glues as well. now you can do a hit and trial method but i dont think it will be worth it

at the end all of these are temporary fix, they might not be able to handle the stress. its best to change the airbox

I think I'm referring to the same silicon adhesive.. I'll see what I can do. If I remember correctly, adhesive that hardens is useless for vibrating situations and hence flexible adhesive is used. That should mean Mseal is not recommended for this application. What about puncture fixing solution? Its flexible AFAIK..

Yes silicon adhesive might hold, apply it both on the inside and outside. puncture solution wont work.

is it necessary to disconnect the battery terminals before charging the battery? Bike is being used less and i don't want the battery to discharge completely. BTW, the bike feels better but it does oscillate at high(3000rpm) idle rpm(during tuning).

Hi everyone, my p180 is still ill and I couldn't identify the issue. The bike is harsh and rough. Low pickup and engine feels tight to rev. Mileage is too low though after CO tuning it has risen to 42kmpl on highway below 4k rpm. Engine heats up pretty quick. Changed oil 150kms back. Mechanic says the bike is normal but I can feel the bike struggling to rev even in singles. Any pointers to this issue?

When you are on a journey to find the new unknown, you have to leave the old behind.

Soon getting a RC390, so its time for good bye to my beloved muse.

                              Hi everyone,

My P180 is just 8 months old and 7000 kms ODO

I can see that oil leaks on the right side gear case, near the oil filling tap.
i found this issue from 4000kms, The bajaj service centre guys are saying to remove the gear case and fit the rivit again correctly.

                              Is this a big issue.
I drive the bike at an average of 80kmps to 100kmps, I shift gears at 7000 rpm normally.

                              Guys please help!!!!

I really feel that Bajaj could have made a Full Fairing for the current Pulsar150 just the way Suzuki did for its Gixxer and the pulsar would have looked way cooler.
I personally feel the 200RS looks kind of ugly
