Bro i was also start facing the same problem, was not confident on front disc, at around 8k i started facing this issue, i went to service HH center for the same problem almost 5 times, they does something every time and nothing happen, this time i again said to them same and they changed something from the DISC assembly and now it is feeling good as compared to earlier, even they didn't charge me for that, I think they knew it what was the problem, they just changed evrything one by one finally their 'tukka' got reach to the point of problem...but i never thought of to show it to a outside mechanic...take my advise just put some pressure on your service center if they are good mechanics they will solve the problem...

No probs buddy. People have done it on many 150cc's, RTR 160, 180 and so on. Never feel that ur bike is inferior to others. Just go ahead. All the very best

BTW, take care to keep a spare clutch cable and accelarator cable. These things, if broken, will leave you awfully helpless.

Not to worry. No one is gonna do tripple digits there.
You can keep up with or even lead any bike under 250cc when offroading, except ofcourse things in orange colour.

Thanks bro.will try to sort it out as soon as possible and I always stay away from local mechanics for serious issues that are related to parts like engine or brakes.

Its a pretty good bike actually.
Test ridden a few weeks back. Great for in-city entertainment
Gives you hell lot of confidence in the traffic zig zap. Stable around corners (though not great).
No idea about offroading character. Should be better only.
One thing I felt was that, as soon as we mount the saddle, it feels doing a few stunts
The bike keeps telling you, 'hey, try out a trick'.

                      • my usual riding speed is 55~60 or 50~55 but go beyond 60 some times and shoot up to 75 and drop it in a minute or less

to day on a 40 km ride, my ride gone reserve in the 1st km, filled 0.74l petrol(Rs 50)
i reached on 4th km and started riding on 75~80

the problem is usually i am getting 35+/-2 kmpl on my rides (52kmpl), but today on that speed, i got only 22kmpl, ie mileage dropped from 52 to 30.

*the bunk i filled petrol for rs 50 was about to close sale as they have low stock, my friend said, low level of petrol in the bunk will let air in the pump and reduce the quantity.

is it usual to drop mileage in this range depending on speed?

AFAIK, if the bunk has such low level of fuel level to cause air flow through the pump, it will eventually damage their fuel pumps, hence they would not be ready to fill in such situations.

Check mileage one more time and get rid of worries !

What about the ride quality compared to Hunk, as it is the first mono-suspension set-up on Hero bikes?
