2. Bigger wide tires both read and Front(probably FZ tires): This won't be possible with the stock alloys. And even with bigger alloys, it might not work. SatSon has a 110 section tyre that rubbed the lower chain guard. There no way the wide tyres of the FZ will work at the rear. The front, I don't know.

3. Non-stock Silencer(I'm ok with few KMs drop in mileage. how much will it drop ): You can try the exhaust from Race Concepts. It is lighter and will give you good performance gains as well. But note that these are illegal for street use and should be used only on the track. A good, tuned for your engine exhaust should cost 5k+.

4. Good short handle bar: Any bike's handlebar should fit I guess. But FZ should serve the purpose you seek.

5. Will Pulsar NS head light fit it?? if not, I would like to go for twin round lamps found in the second pic.: I believe it should fit. Not a direct bolt on, but will require some jugaad. Some clamps here, some clamps there. You catch my drift?

Overall, I would say steer clear of these mods. Except for 4 and 5, all of them are very expensive mods you're planning for.
Ashwin -
I have a 120/80 rear tire at rear and not 110. I think 110 may fit without issues. FZ's 140 size tire won't fit anyways.
I am facing 2 problems with my 120 sized tire. It rubs both chain guards, then, it hits the upper mudguard edges when riding with a pillion. And the result - busted swing arm bushes, due to the heavy hit of the tire on the mudguard edges with the weight of rider+pillion!
I am planning to get it changed to stock 100/90 soon. Budget constraints

Also, as everyone knows, the heavy tire takes a toll on mileage and acceleration, speeds up chain/sprocket wear etc.....

Thanks for the clarification SatSon.

BTW, any idea about the rejetting that looks to be required? Going by Race Concepts' logic, I would need a 130 sized jet. How do I go about this?

I don't think there is any need to re-jet a RC Hunk/Xtreme. It is already running on a #128 jet.

I thought the same too. But their post was pretty clear. I chatted with them as well. They were pretty sure that a bike running with their big bore and headwork would need slightly bigger jets to get the best mixture.

That being said, I haven't checked the Spark Plug as such. So can't really comment.

But, will it make that much of a difference? And since a rejet might be on the cards, how about a more free flowing air filter? I'm against the sound made by the K&N filters. Any other alternative that has performance gains?

RC big Bore is same for Unicorn and Hunk/Xtreme ? If yes then Unicorn runs on a 24mm(or 26- I don't remember it exactly)dia CV carb with a #115 main jet whereas Hunk/Extrme has a 28mm CV carb with #128 main jet so a Hunk/Xtreme already breathes better at high RPM.

FYI, Karizma has a #125 main jet with a 30mm CV carb.

I am not at all an expert or experienced in all these things so I won't suggest anything on this.

Safe to assume it is the same big bore. :/ Now you've managed to confuse me. :P

I had asked my mechanic once, he said it is possible to install a disc brake on the rear , you will have to change the swing arm set though. It is quite tedious plus needs a good mechanic to do quality job .

If you install wider tires , you may have to change the alloy too. All possibilities that it will start rubbing with some other parts.
If you use a short handle bar , I think you will have to change the length of the clutch , brake and the throttle cables too. If the cable bends it can damage your clutch plate.
Pulsar headlight may not be a direct fit. you will have to design and weld clamps .

It will be a lot cheaper to buy a pulsar 200Ns . Just my opinion sir.

Guys, sorry was out of this thread for so many days and my mind was occupied in some other thing so was not concentrating on this thread.
ashwin.terminator- Extreme/hunk has one of the largest jets at 128 size. No other jets in market are larger than extreme in keihin range. Wait for the new Karizma R, since it has power bump so sure will be having bigger jets. Moreover extreme has a 28 mm carb and #128 size jet so nothing to worry.
Sunil Sunny- the mods that you have planned is keeping in FZ in mind. But doing these mods will kill your Hunk and will make it worse. Get a new FZ or P200NS and you will be happy.
Rohitt- Very nice DIY and i am happy that slowly you are getting to be a professional in bike maintenance. If you continue then you will learn a lot and someday will surpass me. Recently a unicorn was completely stripped down for painting. My mechanic had sent it to a friend who is an expert in 2k painting.

See the finish and quality of stickering would put factory paint job to shame:-

That tank looks fabulous. Does he paint in a booth ? Clear coat is sprayed after stickering ?

No, he doesn't paint in booth but his painting process is different. He has an assistant who prep the surface for treatment by sanding down. Then the body is cleaned and a anti-rust layer is sprayed. Then he leaves the body in hot sun for one hour and then he sprays the primer on the hot surface. Then he lets the primer dry for one day and then he checks the surface for any problem. After that he sprays the paint in light layer and dries it in a room sealed from dust. The next day again a thin coat of paint is sprayed and then again dried in that sealed room. After the top layer dries he then dries the paint in Hot sun.

Then it is sent to stickering shop where it is stickered and then comes back and then clear coat is sprayed. What i like about this paint shop is that he is a master in painting as he can do touch-ups to paint that it will match factory paint. Even he can apply another clear coat on the existing clear coat without the clear coat peeling in future. Also he can rectify all the defects in paint that are at factory level.Yes the disadvantage of current water based paint are that they simply do not have the depth and gloss of the old paints. My extreme tank top looks bad compared to my Joy, this for experienced eye like me and for normal people it will look the same. Thinking of getting the tank rectified from the said painter this summer season.

Now i am sad about Hero updates, everything is good but this extreme sports is bad, not as a product but for me because suddenly my extreme looks outdated. More power, wider tyres and better rear styling man i feel very sad as suddenly my extreme is not that powerful as the new model

@shoeb2015- Kya sochta hai. Shall i sell my extreme and get the new one as you know saving money on the car.Haven't told my car plans to anybody else here so will save money and my mechanic is asking for an extreme and this new extreme is looking sweet deal.
