Now i am in situation that i cant take bike to any roadside mechanic to do the things like u said. I am ready to do those things at my home as i have all tools but my dad would kill me if they see me doing such stuffs, as even if i change my bike`s oil at regular interval, giving wash, they keep on shouting saying.." Wat laga dega bike ki..bas tu hi ek he jo pure building me apne bike ki care larta he, baki log ki bike sad rahi he to b kuch nahi krte vo...
What you say, should i keep riding ignoring this issue? will it go away by its own?
I cant say if xtreme had different manual but i and sibun have cbz which clearly states 160ml on full disassembly , DIY is only thing i faith on , mechs are good with general service stuff , but for sensitive things as tappet and carb i dont trust mech . If you search i posted a brief post on forks oil change , buy a graduated beaker or even baby milk bottle having 150-160 ml measuring capacity will work. Drain all oil from fork in beaker and correctly fill 155-160ml back , pump fork 10-15 times slowly so that air comes out , put spring collar etc back and put top nut back.

Forks are hydraulic , go off or over by few ml and it will change character completely. Family problem it is something we cannot change . So just a advice i learnt from someone here , try to get up early 4-5am and work on bike , it will be over till 7am easily.

Maintain your bike and it will reward you with stellar performance everytime.

Bro, i am too having CBZ. Just name change instead of CBZ xtreme its XTREME, newer version with kick start, rest model is same. Also is it mentioned in manual that oil capacity is 160 ml.? In case of mine its clearly mentioned 175 ml on complete disassemble.

If you feel your dad will frown on you for doing it DIY way, then take it to mechanic, make him fix it up to your satisfaction and stop him if he's doing anything wrong at any point of time.

(But before you begin fixing it your self, i am assuming you have all the tools required to proceed with the task at hand.)
Yes i do have all the required sized spanners & allen keys.
Can any one explain me effect of overfiling & underfilling of oil in fork, i tried searching on google but din`t find detailed explanation. It will be very helpful for me.

You can do it on your own that's not at all a big issue, wait for few kms and still if you are feel the the problem then go for the change, check for this link.

Let me ask one more thing if the bike leans to left side you can hold it with your legs...but if it leans to the right side then there is no other way other than letting it fall to ground right??

yes, thats true, but you can practice what I have been doing for past 9 years. I never push the bike from handle bars, the first thing I do is climb on the saddle, and then move the bike by the strength of the legs and feet. You see our legs are 4 times stronger than our hands, and are capable of pushing and pulling huge amounts of loads ,muscles in the legs are constantly supporting our weight and are habitual of taking stress and strain easily.

Climbing on the bike makes sure that each of your leg is on the either side of the bike, so even if it leans on right side, there will be a leg to prevent it from falling. I had a splendor, a discover, a chetak, and Now own a R15, and never in the last 9 years had a single scratch on any of my bikes. I weight 45 kgs and am 5.7 feet tall. The R15 is 4 times as heavier than me and I still can drag it with engine off in the parking lot, if needed. Try it.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

What does this mean? can someone translate?

I think I'd be proud of my son if he were to be good with tools and takes proper care of his vehicles. Imagine you driving somewhere remote and something goes wrong in the bike with no mechanic nearby.

Around 3k. I put a few drops of water on the engine today after a 8 km ride and it vaporised rather fast.

It is normal..[emoji1] We can't say afr is wrong because of this water stuff. Do you face any other issues? Such as low mileage, less acceleration, missing etc?

Acceleration is a bit slow and mileage increases and then suddenly drops. Last time I got a mileage of 40 in the city. Today I got around 35.

If others are not doing what you are doing then it's there falt not yours no one has stop them from taking care of there bike, taking care of your bike is an art and not all of them have got this art, for example suppose if a school going student of your neighbourhood dosen't pays attention towards his studies and you are paying quite serious attention of your studies, will then also your Dad will say that by studying this much you will ruin your self, just look at your neighbourhood student he never studies then why are you studying, no your respected father will never say like this.

You are taking care of your bike as you are getting more in love with her and the more you take care more you will fall in love, so keep loving her and keep learning.

Has anyone tried OEM filters from other bikes on Hunk / xtreme..?
I am looking at RTR / GS150R ones.
And I assume RTR ones might give a bit more flow.
If anyone has any idea, please share
