Do you say that due to the whitish upper area?

                Hello Friends.

As i had posted long back. i changed front fork oil at hero ASC & mechanic over there put 175 ml of oil. My friend ridden my bike & he said its ok no problem, your bike is smooth. Today took her out after 10 days, as i was busy & not getting time to ride her. I still felt some cycle handle kinda effect. Also while riding at night, i felt that headlight beam was not stable at it was before, that too on smooth road, giving some shaking kind of light throw. So what should i do now, drain fork oil & fill it with exactly 160 ml of oil or this shaky problem will go away. I remember my bike`s handle was not so bouncy before changing oil. Also if alignment of fitting fork changes little bit, will it make effect...?
                Kindly reply.

Bumpy forks can be due to forks being twisted(slightly misaligned) while fitting to T-stem too, but there is very less chance for it.

This is what the bike sounds like today after a spirited 12km ride. I also adjusted the tappets yesterday to 0.07 at inlet and 0.10 at exhaust. I'm sure the clearances were set correctly. If I ride sedately, I can't hear it much regardless of the distance, but just once I hit 90, it started.

                    What could be wrong?

But what concerns me is, it's been 30,000km for the bike. Is it time to replace the rocker arms?

Also, while adjusting the tappet clearance, while trying to get this alignment, the 2 guidelines would never become parallel to the cylinder head. They would also be a little slant. I am not sure if this is a problem?

                      Mileage update.

Currently travelled 180.3km with 300 rupees worth of Shell Super Unleaded that costs 84.65 per liter. That is currently a mileage of 50.8kmpl!

And what's the better news? The bike has still not hit reserve. So the mileage is going to increase further. I'm not sure by how much, but it will increase. Also, crossed 30,000km.

And the previous ringing problem has been diagnosed to be a Rocker Arm wear problem. This will be changed in the next service.

Saw i told you that mileage will increase and also performance after you set the tappets correctly. Usually in extreme/hunk most of the bikes create problem because of wrongly or incorrect adjustment of tappets. In extreme the tappets adjustments plays a more important role than other bikes as it runs high lift cams .

My bike is also retuning a mileage of around 49-53 kpl but my bike runs at more than 5.5k rpm and beyond most of the time. Also my bike is set a little richer than the optimum settings for getting than hard pull in each gear. Last monday while i was going to work i was out gunning most cars on the highway when it was coming to acceleration. Although if i will tune it optimally bike will return more than 53-54 kpl but the feeling of twisting the accelerator and flying just doesn't let me to tune the carb.

Although hunk/ extreme is most under-rated bike in 150 cc but in performance and mileage bike is second to none.

Ok enough of blabbering and some photos of my bike:--

Here are some photos that i have clicked some time ago but i didn't post. During the summer we had training at Gopalpur beach where our training center is located. The training took place for three days and since saturday is half day training got over by 1:30. Had lunch at training center and got ready to leave. Before this hadn't taken the bike to training center and this was first. So before leaving gopalpur took the bike to beach.

This is the place where people sit during the evening taking the cool air and enjoying the nature. Feels excellent during nights especially girls coming to beach:-

Who said it doesn't makes a good tourer. Standing looking at the highway burning the highway. Before this stop i had ridden 75 kms continuously form gopalpur with speeds hovering between 95-100 kph. That means i was riding for more than 1 hour at 95-100 kph in 2 o clock with temp at 45 degrees.

Hai all.. Is that true the best tuning of cv carb is between 3-3.5 turns? Since guys here are telling like that today again i tuned carb and got setting of 1.85 turns(this was the previous setting) when reaches about 3 turns rpm decreases and constantly varying. Then how a cv carb can work at 3.5 turns? If it is the correct method, then why company did't tune like that? Why they are setting at 1.7 turns?
