      Equally uncomfortable !

Hunk seating-suspension system is one of the best in the 150cc segment.
Even I've read the same in many reviews.

their volume comes from the commuter segment, read 100-125 cc.that is where they excell.100 cc is not at all enthusiast's bike.
the most profit comes from the performance segment where bajaj rules ,followed by yamaha, tvs, honda and then hmc and suzuki.

buddy gas charged suspension can't be the best ,when the world has moved on to monoshock ,even gas charged monoshock.
hunk's pillion seat height is as same as cbz,so no point in comparing.

i don't know if it is a direct fit but it is possible indeed.but why do you need those rotor-petals,just for the looks or better braking.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

For looks..? not at all. I m looking for better braking only.

Buddy, can you please stop littering everywhere? Please keep your sugestions out of this ownership thread... I do appreciate that you lpbe your p220 but we are not intrested in knowing why it is the largest selling (sports bike).
Literate fool is a perfect fit for fanboyism taken to extremes....

Please STFU here, this is not a I HAVE THE P220 AND I AM BLINDED IN ITS LOVE thread...

Sincere request, please do not reply to my query below. I do not need your opinion / prawachan / advice...

@owners, lately, my hunk has been giving a strange problem...
Whenever i close the throttle for a couple of seconds, a LOOSE TAPPET type sound comes from the engine...
This is typical only in afternoon or in hot engine..
The problem is that as soon as i open the throttle again, the sound is gone...
This does not happen everytime but its fairy common.
I know my engine very well and i have been working on it since it was 15000ks old... Its still very reliable except for the above...
Btw, the bike is 4yrs old and has completed 105500 kms till date...
It still touches 110kmph but requires time.

Please let me kmow if anyone knows what is happening to the bike..

Btw, before this problem started, i had opened the head assly for timing chain and guide replacement. This problem has mysteriously started the very next week after these replacements...

Please reply or recomend a person who can help me out

I would have loved if that was the only case but it is not giving me any symptoms of an timing out of sync...
                          • the milage has improved from earlier 40 to a current 47 kmpl,
                          • the engine is not overheating,
                          • pickup has increased and
                          • the rev limiter actually cutts off the engine even at 4th gear.

but this can also be attributed to a new porting job on the carb, revised jet sizes, reduction of compression to near stock(I believe it was high earlier)

also, when fitting the new timing chain, sprocket, i had taken outmost care of the timing marks. but still i will try fiddling with the timing again... actually i do not have the timing strobe with me so cant verify if the setting is right.. the svc folks are not helpfull either (primarily since i have been taking potshots everytime they blundered with the bike )

but are you sure its the timing chain? I am asking cos the noise comes only when the bike is (engine braking) decelerating with the throttle closed

Bro why the rtr discs? they bite more than cbz ones?:O and the rtr rear disc is of only 200mm while cbz/hunk has 220 dunno about the rtr front disc size ours is 240 and i thought the bite depends on the disc size never knew that the desgin/shape of dsic matters

I have heared RTR"s braking better than others similar bikes. Pulsar's one are good but those get locked easily unlike ours.

I read the posts you had scribbled out here. I can understand your luv or craziness for your bike. But its always good if we all respect all models. Every model has got its own pros & cons and so do your bike. Anyway its nice from your part after all the complains from other bikers of this forum that you have put a brake on yourself. Now that turns the topic on whether RTR disc brakes are good enough as asked by one of our xbhp mate. Well AFAIK they are good not just look-wise but also performance-wise. Mine is RTR-HE and I opted for both rear and front disc & it doesnt get lock that soon. I have read one person using Ninja disc brakes for his Unicorn/pulsar. So, the change is possible.
