Guys, i was the one who was facing a similar problem (petrol smell from the tank cap). To make matter more curious, I always close the fuel cock even if I stand the bike for an hour or more. It's more out of a habit (like engaging the hand brake in a car whenever the car is at a stand still position). Even though, I continue to get very less mileage figures....

For Rs. 100 here in Kolkata (~1.43Lts.) I can hardly ride the bike beyond 60kms!!
And it has further dipped to 50kms since the past one week!!

Note: I still haven't undergone the '1st free servicing'. Any inputs?

Herez your laddu, i got only ~30 during my first 300~500 i dont know the exact figure but not more than 35. but after the first service the milage shooted to 57+ during the first 100km(ie 600 on odo) but then dropped to 53. same on the second service it gave me 55+ for the first few km and now its giving 53. Don't worry bro, complain abt the milage only after 3~4 services.

      btw your odo reading?

y dont u go for your first service? do it in the best svc u can reach.

no need to complain abt milage to the svc now as they will play on your carb settings and may cause too much trouble.

i think the svc guys will put it in rich fuel mixture during the run in peroid

then you have to change tyre profile too,rtr disc has too much bite.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

hey hunk too has step-up seat but it is not divided like cbz ,but equally uncomfortable.

actually pulsar 180 was never good at corners but straight line stability was good.new gen 180 is economical too.

actually split seat is good for aiding in riders agressive sitting position but not at all recommended for pillions.

well, i couldn't differentiate much. Which one do you think is a overall nice package...cbz or hunk?

while cbz looks fresh ,hunk has a little better pick-up.both of them are not at all good at corners, but straight line stability is commenable.overall as a package cbz has more appeal.
