I do not know how those a***oles doesn't change that each time they open head. There is a single gasket like oil seal and you can easily get it outside who stock hero spares. Or else go to honda and buy unicorns. Fit it using gasket sealant and leaking will stop.
Also regarding our mileage since your carb has dirt, it is not metering the fuel correctly.
Sibun ji you talking about this right ?

This head gasket and two others they changes when they opened my engine 2 days back.....i am talking about the two screws on top of the lid...they have this oil seal or something...i asked around like you said ...the honda showroom guys are saying both the Xtreme and uni/shine have the same oil seal but they dont have stock also...its not available in any spare part shop outside...all are saying either go to hero showroom or honda....mechs at honda showroom advised me to use the same seal with M-SEAL paste ...i am scared to use any kinda paste after seeing an Xtreme @SC some local mech used some paste like this to stop oil leak and that paste somehow blocked the small hole through which the oil circulates and the engine seized shortly...they replaced almost everything on that bike .

Ok, i got what you are telling. The bolt seals are available but little difficult to find.
Do not use M-SEAL paste, instead use resigrip clear 330 between the nut and seal and not inside the seal.
It is a jelly like substance and becomes solid on heating. But the added advantage is that it will easily get removed on opening. The trick is not to use it in the inside of the oil seal but use it outside between the bolt head and the oil seal.

Search in some other service center or parts stockist.

You can get same type of brakes by changing the major kit and minor kit to BYBRE or KBX.
BYBRE is indian branch of BREMBO which is a joint venture between BREMBO and KBX.
So get a major and minor kit of KBX and change. Also change the pads to KBX. You will get that bite.
Could you be more elaborate about Major and minor kits..? Google didnt help..

Also which brake pad should I go for..? KBX or Byre ( stock one that now Hero uses)..?

I was having noisier engine from past few month. Told my native SVC about this in Free as well as Paid service but no attention given at all.So i tried another one today and told them about my problem. Finally it got rectified,my tensioner lifter assembly was faulty as reported by mechanic thus causing tak-tak noise. charged 240(incl labour+tax). difference is obvious and clear.i feel happy now .

@senior members : what is the role of this part,as i was suspecting tappets to be reason behind this strange noise.

Glad you got your bike rocking back again

By the way, where is this tension-lifter assembly located, did you check it while he was doing?

and what is the encircled portion and what is its use? I often find the bolts getting loose so i tighten them up for both the sides whenever they get loose. Is it safe to do so or I am fiddling bad with something here?

And a noobie biker question, does the engine stall if we do not pull the choke for sometime or keep the throttle at the start of the day. Even if the temperature around is pretty hot, I find the bike stalls at the first 500m-1km range if I do not apply throttle. Is it normal?

That circled part in your picture is used to adjust the chain slackness (after loosening the bigger axle nut you see in that pic) - i suggest you get it checked and have the chain adjusted to correct slackness (you should have some kind of markings on either side and both should be at the same 'marking')

for the engine stalling issue, you can have the svc increase your idle rpm (hopefully the afr setting is correct and not too lean) if you are not familiar with it (its just the idle screw on the carb needs to be adjusted correctly). and its perfectly ok if you can use the choke to start and then wait for half a minute close choke n then ride the first 1km slowly. if it doesnt shut off after a km or so, you are fine.

Now that I've mistakenly tightened them both (the two small ones on both the sides of the tyre), will that pose any oncoming problem before visiting the SVC as I am pretty tied up due to my oncoming exams . I once asked the mechanic at the SVC to check the chain and he adjusted the bigger bolts which you can see towards the right of the circled portion. What effect does those big bolts have on the chain?

Edit: If that can be done at home, do let me know, ill go and check the markings

My IDLE RPM is at 1000 (or a little lower) when cold and when its hot, its around 1400-1500 mark. Is it fine?

I suggest you get it checked and watch someone do it, before you attempt it yourself. If the adjustment is not proper then you will damage the chain/sprocket.
It is hardly a 5 min job.
for the cbz i think a cold rpm of 1000/1100 and when hot around 1300/1400 should be good.

If you simply tighten those bolts without loosening the main axle(big) bolts, it'll not change the chain slackness.
                  Don't worry.

The idle RPM of yours is absolutely fine.

                  • I got a half chain case fixed today!

Got the half chain case of the Stunner, cost me 65 rupees. Sat down to change the chain case. Removed the old one and tried to put the new one, but unfortunately, there was some part of the chain case protruding out the inside of the chain case towards the inner sprocket. Cut it out about an inch from the bottom and then noticed it fits perfectly, but the bolt doesn't slot into place, barely 3mm apart. Took a scissor cut out a hole and voila I was done! Camera not around right now, so no pics.

And yes, it is the same chain that the bike came with. My idea is, this way, I'll take care of the chain more often too!

Yeah, I already have a O-Ring chain in the Unicorn Dazzler's chain actually. But, there is no need to change the chain just yet. Sometime soon nonetheless.

                        • Guys need help.
Today bought a pair of KBX brake pads and fixed it. Went for a test and it was fine. Good braking. Washed the bike as soon as I came home. After the wash viola..! the front wheel is jammed. I was like WTF. The brake was biting on to the disk. Removed the calipper and oiled the pistons but to no avail. It was getting stiffer. Then replaced one pad (piston opposite side) with the old one and it was all fine.
                          What happed here actually..?

Sorry, can't help you on the brake bit. I haven't put on the Dazzler's chain yet, I bought it a bit early assuming my chain had reached the end of its lifespan, but 5k KM later, I'm still with the same chain. :P The sprockets, no, stock sprockets(for now) The chain was 1100 by the way.

Not sure about the oil, but I'd say hold on to mineral oil upto 5k KM or something. Braking, follow these links:

And try spraying some high pressure water between the rotor and the pads, should dislodge any sand/mud stuck inside there.

                                It was because of water.
Have you checked the top master cylinder piston for proper return. Sometimes the top pistons jams and thus cause reduced braking efficiency, quick pad wear and sound. For this you have to change top pistons and fill new oil.
Check the master cylinder pistons for proper operations.
