its gonna b a long ride indeed. do take breaks in between ur ride (60-80 kms) and adjust ur rear shocks according to the roads (stiffer if mostly highways ).also check ur tyre pressure (28-30 front, 30-32 rear) before u take off. keep first free service period in mind 500-750 km and act accordingly.u might have to service ur bike @ a different Service centre.in that case keep ur booklet and documents with u. 

. checked my airfilter/spark plug.found ok.any other reason??

....just like you predicted the metal pipe on the top of the head cover packing was gone
.... the head mech told me today and thats what was making the "chik chik chik" noise....the compression was lost due to carbon deposit on the valve and the valves being brand new done only 5000kms as they were replaced when changing the bore kit i asked how is this possible?....the first reply was bad petrol....i knew this is what they say as i have replaced 3 valves already on the old bore and on your advise i now go to only this company owned bunk far away from my place ....told them that and the head mech called another senior mech in this very big hero SC in chennai....that chennai mech instructed him to change the valve guide and told he has four Xtreme bikes with the same fault like mine on his table...he showed me the valve i will post a snap tomorrow....they have opened the bore once again just to check if the compression loss was due to busted ring and the bore is good he said...so they are going to replace the valve guide + new valves will get the bike tomorrow .Your thoughts on defective valve guides sibunji is this a manufacturing defect
If you lived nearby i would not have to worry at all...at one point i thought of just sending the bike via train to your place....if nothing works out i am ready to hit NH5 will take me 3 days to get to your place but it will be worth it i am sure
.Very very sad to hear this but here in my place cops do actually find bikes like this in one piece so dont lose hope
was it taken from your work site or home ?Yeah bore was stripped open its good
.This is something even if i told them to adjust they will do it by hand only...will buy a feeler gauge and take it to SC next.Told them to check that tooYeah the packing on this one was gone the head mech said so they will replace it ...will ask them about the reed valve .Yeah they changed it as a whole kit...bore+piston+rings...the box even had the packing in it.He removed all the metal shavings and even the very small ones were taken care of with the air gun

The mech told me it must be the valve guide thats at fault...if it was bad fuel he said both the valves would have suffered the same fate... is he correct guys ? valve guide that was replaced :
They also opened the engine AGAIN just to see how it is...it was all good .They told me even though the engine was torn apart to check i dont have to follow the run in again...hope this is correct as i hit 80KM/hr as soon as i warmed the bike to check the acceleration
. New vlaves+guide+engine oil+consumables+labor charges = mild heart attack
