    I don't know about the relays and stuff. But I think you should change the entire setup to full DC and plonk in a 65W bulb. I've used this setup for close to 2 months now. No top end reduction, no battery discharging problems, nothing. Headache free, reliable lighting all the way.
    Hey buddy ,can you clearly tell me what is the setup you did it to get a good lighting & with good battery life too? very poor HH lighting system man, damn!!

      I doubt if your visor and indicators are covered in insurance m since its plastic . You may not get any insurance cover for it and may have to shell out from your pocket.

      SVC is not bothered about stickers since its not a fast moving consumer good.

      The whole visor comes with the sticker and hence no one is bothered about stocking it up.

      This is a chance for you to get creative , go to a nearby sticker shop and get those stickers done your self. You can probably bargain and get it for a cheaper rate.

      Was there another vehicle / person involved in the accident ? Or did you just fall of the vehicle by losing balance ?

          hello rahul ..i was having same confusion as u..I figured out till 300-400 km we need to drive under 45 and after 500 we can take it upto 60-70 that too for a whileRest assured treat her like a woman !

            Yeah you were right on the spot ....i didnt see how they changed the guide in lathe...usually i stay with my bike whenever they touch it but this time due to the fight in showroom i had to leave it....there was some scratches in the brake oil reservoir and the new bore...after they opened the engine mileage seemed to have dropped getting 42.5km/lt inside town instead of 47km/lt that i used to get.

            Also yesterday i started the bike after 2 days and the kicked felt like it has lost 90% of compression but it started in a couple of kicks ...i was shocked how this could happen but after riding it for 3 kms the compression was back to normal and the kicker was now offering some resistance....today i checked again the kicker was ok not free falling like before...really confused to why it happened like that again .

            If i see a old model Xtreme now i kick it just to see how the compression is on other bikes...on one Xtreme done only 16K the kicker was twice as hard to kick ...on another bike done 53K the kicker has very little compression it felt like it had no compression at all...other with like 30- 35K on the odo the kicker feels like the compression is like mine not too hard or less ...i wonder why this is .

            Yeah they may use it in some crime ...lot of headache if that happens .

                why are you driving that slow ? Keep the bike below 5000RPM that is more important...you can safely take the bike upto 50-55Km/hr but no sudden acceleration...warm the bike for a min. every morning.Dont worry about anything till you complete the the run in ...if you take it to SC now they will mess around with the carb .

                      Dont worry about the mileage,it will improve to 40-45 lateron.we all had such low mileage in beginning. Dont be limited under 40.take it to 45-50 once in a while.thers no harm in it.dnt cross 5-6K RPM mark.

                      This seems to be a problem with most of the new HMC bike. Same case with me and many others out here. It gets loose and makes Kad-Kad sound at corners.My adjustment bolt is at farthest point.Its time to either replace the whole chain-set(700-800Rs) or to get few links removed.

                        May be ,my bike is HH HUNK & its 2months old.I ll ask them to replace chain set its under warranty. But i want know what is the reason to get loosen ?

                          I dont think they gonna change it. they will most probably adjust it but in the end u have to change it or make it short by removing some links. Stilll give it a try.

                          • 320km on odo and man i am in love with this bike..the accl..handling and most important i got a mileage of

                            53 km/lt on highways

                            45-48 km/lt on city roads....



                            Super smooth till 3K rpm..But soon i cross 3K rpm..terrible vibrations...Any guess whats the season for vibrationsw

                              And regarding mileage i get about 50-55 kpl in city sometimes going up to 58 kpl and on highways up to 63-64 kpl.
                              I get good mileage because i accelerate gradually. On NH i ride at 75-85 kph and i accelerate gradually.
                              I shift to 5th at 42 kph and then i accelerate slowly and you can see each digit like 42,43,44,45,-------- until i reach cruising speed. Rapid acceleration and deceleration is the cause of low fuel efficiency.
                              If you ride pillion with me you will see that i will not be moving the throttle but the bike will be gaining speed. Its because i have learn to master the throttle after so many years of riding that, i now can increase even 1 kph with throttle and held it constant.

                              Apart from regular service change air filter if not changed, change spark plug and clean and lubricate chain.

                              Check whether your chain is hero. If so it will give the problem. Tell them to change under warranty and if possible complain to HERO directly.

                              Do not worry,it will subside as you pile on KMS.
                              Initially my bike was feeling the same but it has smoothen out a lot.
                              Hero honda engines are known for their tight tolerances and take as long as 10k to completely free up.My extreme at 6.5k is quite free to rev but still it will get more free and today i will go for 5th service.

                                Thanx It was useful. As my exams are going on, I ride in city only. college to my place. So the less speed. I will take her to highway in diwali

                                One more query. Engine braking is good or bad? I daily ride to my college which is situated on hill, and while coming back I use gears and brakes to control my bikes speed instead of engaging clutch and allowing it take speed freely. Is it good or bad?
