    I've also heard good reviews about Osram silver-star bulbs, but could not source it till now.

      Yes they are being sold , but check whether it is from Philips or not , generally svc wont allow packaging to be opened , so try another spare shop , i had mine fitted with halonix first , when it got fused i changed it with philips , i ordered it in nearby spare shop and he got me the required brand . Silver star is one of the best bulbs in market , IIRC [MENTION=6724]Paul[/MENTION] is using it in his bike , his signature explains brilliantly about that bulb .

        I came to know about Osram silver-star bulbs from [MENTION=6724]Paul[/MENTION]'s post only
        But I'm having difficulty to source the same in Delhi. Can any xbhpian from Delhi help me in finding Osram silver star bulbs

            ^Osram is good for Passion/Splendour, etc. For our Hunks/Xtremes - the new age Philips German bulbs are the best.

            An update: Done with 6th Servicing 2 weeks back. After the tappet adjustment and the air filter change, there has not been any noticeable improvement in the acceleration but I surely have got a huge mileage bump of +10kmpl. I got a mileage of 50kmpl this time (with the 2000kms old Veedol 10w30 Oil)! Done 8700kms on the odo.

            The battery has almost died - getting it replaced under warranty.

                  If u cant find osram then go for Philips. Both are good with same light intensity. You will not notice any difference. Get to ASC and ask for hunk/xtreme/pleasure bulb. You will get "philips 12636 35/35W germany" (not in same order) written on it. With no premium written, but that is premium. 12636 (is a philips part no.) means Philips Premium HS1 12V 35/35W PX43t.

                        i tightened the chain 4 times.. Still the chain is making noise when i throttle lower when i switch gear
                        wats d problem ?
                        that noise is irritating and also scares me

                              Your bike is comparatively new for sprockets to wear out , check for correct slackness , lower tension will cause kat kat noise due to hitting on chain case , over tight will cause early sprockets wear. Sprocket set from diamond or rolon costs 700to 800rs . Dont go for hero chain kit. When chain is subjected to shocks that is high revving and stunting reduces its life , you can do 8k rpm all day but changing gears at 8k rpm will have deteriorating effect . Get chain checked from experienced mechanic , if possible check front sprocket for wear , if teeth are hook shaped it means it is almost gone .
