FZ16 Lost balance and modification

Hello friend's........

I currently own a FZ16 2010 model, i'm a stunter and my bike has crashed many times within these 3 years and now i am having complication in my bike. My bike has lost its balance , this time when i took it to the Yamaha showroom the guys there refused to change my T-frock saying its in ok condition and nothing has happend to it. They suggested me to get it aligned if the problem persists, but my biggest problem is - i got them alinged a lot of times before but the problem persists.

Do i have a problem with T-frock or chasis. Please suggest me some help guys, my bike skids even when i apply front brakes at a slow speed of 20-30. Will changing the whole T-frock set along with head help me and how much would it cost or should i ask mechanic to check the chasis and front wheel alloy for any defect(p.l.s note i have a new tyre)

What should i do???

Need help with jammed front disc brake

Hi , I have Yamaha FZS and since few days I am facing an issue with the front disc brake . When I try to rotate the Tyre keeping my bike on main stand it is very hard and when I ride my bike the disc becomes very hot. I showed this to a local mechanic , he opened the breaks and cleaned them , but this did not help . He told me it will get ok after running but it did not . Can someone please tell me what can be the reason behind this . Thanks

After a Month I took my New FZS to 60-70s speed (Now Bike is 7 months OLD)

So ..As I posted Earlier that my new FZS Bike was Vibrating alot whenever I was taking above 60km as usual my Two Free services was totally wasted Trying 100 Times to say this Problem ,they never listen to me ... 1week ago my 3rd service came up and I went for Main Service center and when I told them SC Guys they said your Bike needs to get tuneup as his time has come.. They Took approx 3hours as service in front of me after that they gave me my Bike. Now... Taking to 80km speed my bike is not Vibrating... Engine is so smooth I cant even imagine

Question I want to ask
1.Is there any tuneup for New bike that you cant ride 60-70 speed.
2.Now will my mileage get decrees as SC guy tuned my bike.. feeling lil bit nervous..!! (I was getting mileage 37 in city)
3.I want to change front headlights from stock to good one... How much it will cost and wat Brand should I Prefer.

Guys i am thinking of buying fzs in few months .i want to know
1. what is daily maintainence cost of it as some says it is expensive and some says it is normal charges only..
2. milage and performance difference of 2013 model compared to earlier model. as i have heard that now it gives good milage compared to earlier versions.
As i have an option of second hand fzs model 2010...45000 to 55000 or buying a new one for 82000 ...

Fz is a good machine.. Low in maintenance.. Mileage is slightly low as compared to other 150cc's.. But the power is one of the best in its class..
apart from some visual changes, its the same machine on the inside..
get a new machine instead.. And take care of it from the start..
don't worry mate.. Get one for yourself..

Thanks for the reply..buddy i am on a tight budget so considering it as an option,,my friend spends 1100 to 1500 on every service..so is this high or normal service bill..
and what must i be paying for for an maintained bike odo less than 10000...i am getting some deals .

Its not that high.. It usually come around 650-700rs.. If you use the mineral oil, it would come at 550rs..
if its free.. 300 for engine oil, 40 for oil filter, 110 for chain lube..
and for paid, add 300rs more..
use synthetic oil, the cost would naturally go up..
its normal buddy..

Did you try changing the disk pads once. . ?

Hey mate.. just a quick question - i own a fazer 2010 model and as my stock battery went kaput in 2 years, replaced it with an exide battery similar to the stock. So i want to know that as i myself am not happy with the stock headlights, would the ones you suggested ie philips or osram work fine with the exide that i installed? Or i need a battery upgrade again for them? Thanks.

don't know much about them mate, but if the battery is same as the stock one, the philips/osram bulbs should work fine..
the stock bulbs are not very helpful.. since fazer has 2 bulbs and using 55/60w bulbs, won't that cause additional load on the battery..

Bro.. I am from Mumbai and own a fazer. My paid service bill comes around 800-900. The breakup is as follows -
Service : 300
Oil : 320
Chain lube and clean : 200

This is just the normal bill if your bike is properly maintained. Any other requirements or issues would be charged extra.
Also my bike running is not very high and i ride very normally and complete 3000 kms in around 4 months. Thats when i give it for service, so basically 3 paid service in a year for me. Also before i go on my tours, i just get my bike checked for basic stuff and any irregularities (just 50-100 bucks). So my opinion is, always treat your bike well, take good care of it, maintain it properly, and once you start with paid service, just do the servicing based on the running requirement. Hope it helps. Guys, in the new FZ series, i have noticed a cover kind of thing where the chain slacks. What exactly is that? Any idea?

its the chain guard, but on the lower side.. its the same on the R15v2..
