  • Guys, when I checked my mileage a month back, I was getting around 45 kmpl. Now, I checked the mileage today. Filled 2.24 litres when the bike hit reserve and the bike has run 126km, which makes the mileage around 56kmpl . What's even more baffling is that the bike hasn't hit reserve yet, only the fuel indicator has started blinking with zero bars. And all this when I daily ride for a considerable time at 80kmph daily.

I believe its because I followed what Aryan da said on this thread : http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...tml#post313298

but do remember never pull things off ur tyre..its something tubeless tyres owners have to keep in mind(one of the many things i learnt from this forum)
Oh, Let me see if i loose air pressure. I removed that rivet kind of pin only because it was making lot of noise, since the pin bottom was almost size of a coin, left with no option. Will wait and watch, Since my tyres are nitrogen filled 2 weeks back, ideally it should not loose air for another 3 months.

I had got puncture kit along with my new honda city. Is that kit mushroom puncture kit?

yes... you should not have removed the pin coz now it could be a lil more diff to find that hole again...
the rear tyre has very thin rubber it can get punctured by anything thats about 8-10 mm long
Kingdom FAR FAR away is where I wanna be...
But I can't find a road headed that way.

No! That is not a mushroom puncture kit.! It must be containing some ready to use patches which you can paste in case you get your tyre punctured.

Mushroom punctures can only be fixed at MRF centers or other outlets.

Read the helmet thread under universal section, you would know why i said that, helmet is made of fiber glass, if you crash now it will be in pieces wouldn't even save your head, whts the use of helmet then, if you just want to wear for law then its different. For stickers and stuff google for any helmet style shop i have seen quite a few in Bangalore

yes it is illegal that's why most companies put saree guard as RTO demands it even Harley in india have saree guards, but as per rule of thumb you are not a criminal till the time you are caught.

Get a mushroom puncture done asap, you can fill air in tire and ride the bike for sometime, but it will lose air fast, mine dropped till 17 psi once

I have heard, tubeless tyre has liquid inside and it fills up any small puncture. Doesn't our FZ tyre have this.

^^^ yep what he said, the only good thing about tubeless you can ride upto like some kilometers by replacing air as it has no tube, so nothing is going to burst.

                          • what are the standard parts delivered with the bike?

I just noticed an FZ with a mudguard extension. Can someone tell me if that's an accessory or part of the standard fittings?

My FZ is second-hand. I'm wondering if I missed any other parts when I bought it from the previous owner.
