        Thats cool then. Will get it fitted to my FZ. In rainy season the present mudguard was allowing dirt to be thrown on rear Passenger.

                    guys,

                    am a newbie in this community and i got my new fazer black two weeks before...when i took the bike delivery, i forgot the festival offer and the guy in showroom also didnt tell anything abt it...yesterday i got a call from svc and they asked me to come and collect the cheque for 1000 that i won in the festival offer, i asked the details and they told i won this in scratch card...
                    how come they didnt inform me anything about it during delivery and did they scratch it on behalf of me? its my mistake that i should ask this beginning...did any one face the same or is that the normal process?

                      the scratch card with Rs1000/-off, is an assured gift....i.e ,Rs1000 off is a default offer in every scratch card....yamaha have simply hiked the bike's price by 1000 bucks and reduced it in the form of offer.......i think they would have been out of stock of scratch cards at the time when you bought the bike....cause when my friend bought R15 during diwali, he was told that scratch cards are out of stocks and he will be given the default 1000 bucks off on purchase..thats why you must have informed about it later..

                        Just a doubt before buying fz-s.. plz help

                        Hi all fz and fazer owners.. hope u all r havin a great time riding ur FZs..

                        M planning to buy FZ-S but just a last minute doubt before i sign the cheque

                        I plan to ride my bike only on weekends.. so will i face any problems starting the bike after a five-day break.. knowing that it only has an electric start??
                        I stay in mumbai so winters r not that cold n not a major problem. But will the bike start up without any problem after a few days break?

                        Need ur advice urgently as i want to finalize it today itself..

                          YAMALUBE...as its a product of Yamaha for its motorcycles, it will be the best oil for Yamaha Fazer..its the default oil used in yamaha service center..

                            Bro with my experience of only 4 months with this bike i cannot assure you any thing but, I tried to start my bike after 8 days and it started with a single try..

                            So you can infer ..

                              i think you will not have self-start problems IF u compensate the bike's idle time in your garage for 5days by riding the bike more in weekends...the battery needs to be charged..it will be charged only when you ride the bike..you have to ride the bike for more kms(around 100kms) in weekends in order to put enough charge in your battery so that the charge stays for the 6th day when you ride it again..if you rarely use the bike in weekends then you may get self-start problems as you dont allow your battery to charge..
