He spotted my rear tyre puncture even when my vehicle was on center stand (and I didnt know that even while riding...). They solved my HL focus and mirror problems. But they didnt do anything to my gearbox issues. I think they just plain forgot about it or figured it'll get better with time. First service 550 bucks (including 125 for puncture.)

The rear tyre pressure had dropped today to 28 (so I dont know if they've done a good job on that). Will update later on that.

I've decided that I won't go back to them for anything else again. So XBHPians from Bangalore, could you tell me which is the best service centre in Bangalore?

        I'll weigh my options..
I think the bike is far too good looking for the guard to spoil it... but to every man his own....
In jc road any shop will do.. but watch out some may take you for a ride.. and SVC there is one near jc road(which is luckily near jc road) so you can go to both the places and choose whichever you want..

Yeah. Had same issue with Pacer too. But to be honest they were quite loaded with some bikes that had come for some accident and stuff. Quick update on my rear tyre. It is dropping to 28 everyday without fail . Some thing to complain about to Pacer. Question to everyone, is this expected with the puncture repair (not the mushroom cap thing), but with that fat thread type insertion process???

On the + side however, Gear shifts are getting smoother by the km .
          Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

Thanks. Will check it out. the SVC you are talking about, Is it Perfect Riders in Lalbagh rd. You have mentioned JC rd, Hence the confusion. Also is the crash guard the Rod or the butterfly??? If they both are available how much does each cost. I'd prefer the rod as mentioned earlier it looks better. Doesnt spoil the looks that much .

Also does the guard protect the tank as well??? I'm assuming yes as the Leg comes before the tank on a fall

I recently got my FZ rear puncture work done with the fat thread type and i dont see any drop in air pressure. Looks like puncture work was not done well or you might have additional puncture. I got it done in Panchee svc in indiranagar.

Since i had removed the pin from tyre he removed the tyre and found out the puncture with putting the tyre in water and found out there were two puncture and he fixed it and charged me Rs 200 for two puncture.

He was using the same kit which i got as essential kit when i got my honda city. I observed how he did. Identify the puncture spot and drill and bigger hole with the tool provided then put the fat thread into another tool edge(just like putting thread in needle) and force the thread in and remove the tool immediately. The Thread will get struck and the puncture work in done. So next time i should be able to do it myself

Yeah its perfect motors i think,am not really familiar with that part of that town.. anyway i tried searching for the rod kind of guard but couldnt find it, but nevertheless u give it a try.Even i feel the rod one suits better.. the butterfly guard thankfully serves the purpose..

Oh cool, waiting for more updates from you, how is top-end speed above 80, did it make any difference?. Was it just plain changing of sprockets?

I think if we can change sprockets of R15 to FZ, then back disc brake of R15 can be easily changed to FZ also.
