well 1nce i asked a honda mechanic if unicorn cud do 0-60 in 5 secs , he said he can do it even wid me sitting as a pillion but at dat time my bike was new so i did not gave it a try but during my next service i will confirm dis or even try 2 make a video of it as well to {shut up all ur mouths

I've tried the most perfect gear shifts from 0-60kmph, it is impossible to achieve under 5 secs, it is achievable at 5.7-5.8, i got it in dot 6 seconds

have you ever wondered why motogp racres keep on practicing through out the year for their championship , so that they can never go out of tune of their bike's engine.( u must b tuned wid d tuned engine and its a never ending process dear)
i still remember pulsar 150(not dtsi) claiming it in 6 seconds , if u think unicorn is way faster , u'hv got ur answer , if nt den also u hv got ur answer , still not satisfied?

i cud do 0-60 in 6 secs even on d first or atlast 2-3 rides on uni
the day u do it in 5 secs u are elible to apply for 1 of d moto gp racers just 4 having that much skilled hand on a bike.

@honda_vings: Buddy my point is exactly that 6 seconds is pretty much everyone's time, 5.7-5.8 can and is achievable, but 5 seconds impossible unless u have a nitrous fitted

being eligible to apply and 2 be a motogpian are 2 different worlds.
dey cn do d best wid uni b'coz dey are familiar wid d gear ratios and torque curves of uni.
But nw i am quite confident u guyz just want proof n nt techniques for racy rides, n 4 it u must have patience .

for instance here are the test reports of overdrive magazine on unicorn
0-30 1st gear 1.99 secs.
30-60 2nd gear 2.68 secs.
I guess dey hv pre-engaged their 1st gear before beginning to count the time , n hence dey hv 2 chnged only 1 gear.
u guyz try dis n tell ur xperience.

hey frienzs , i have a year old uni and have done some 10K kms on it , yesterday i bought a K&N RC1060 and fitted it on my bike , without any jetting done . Now my question is if my driving is around 60-80 Kms per day and i never exceed 7000 RPM , is jetting compulsory ? If yes then which size jet should i go for ?

Dude, Jetting doesn't have to do anything with the no. of kms u clock a day, it has got to do with the fuel-air ratio which will be lean if u dont do up-jetting which when compared to a normal stock Uni, ur's will be seriously slower as ur not compensating your fuel for that extra air that k&n takes.!!!

although it can be done by any mechanic but i wud advice u to go to the A.S.S.
i hv a diy 4 it if u knw the location of the ideal screw mixture.
