Oh!!! That's HSRP; is it enforced in AP? Certainly not in TN which should get implemented along with RTO (if at all its doneOriginally posted by thefastestindian View PostIND is just a sticker.. but actually you are suppose to have a hologram above the IND which has a unique number along with your engine and chassis number engraved on it..
)
Anyway, I guess we've gone too much away on OT & better to stop now before xPolice deletes the posts

Did a long ride yesterday. Some 200+ kms. This lil blade is just perfect for highways and long rides. It ws handling the highways pretty well and also during crosswinds. The sound it makes at 70+ kmph is pretty good. I like it more and mroe day by day.. Specially when you duck under the punny windscreen and twist the throttle... Got over 32 kmpl for sure. ( I was doing an avg of 80 kmph )
OT : Yes I meant HSRP. It's not enforced in AP yet. All I meant to say is that It's a waste to spend 500 bucks for just embossed number plates. Just my opinion.Originally posted by aargee View PostOh!!! That's HSRP; is it enforced in AP? Certainly not in TN which should get implemented along with RTO (if at all its done

About HSRP, it is not just an embossed number plate.
I think these number plates can be read electronically.
They as well have a hologram on it.

As far as i know and out of my experience most of the service centres accept the free service coupon even it is a week late. You can right away call your prospective service station and inform this in prior that you will be late, they will certainly accept that.Originally posted by ViggyRSA View PostGuys my bike is going to complete 1 month on 2nd july and unfortunately i wont be free to take it for service.So i just wanted to know whehter it is necessary to take it before completing 1 month or if it is fine if i take my bike for the service 1 or 2 days late??Please guide meExplore the unexplored!

Well I went there and ordered one! But sadly it seems the hole to fit it in will directly come right on that hologram!
IND and the Hologram are embossed on the plate btw! Not Stickering it seems! I touched and felt it today!Originally posted by srivaatsav View Post
Yup thats the one !
and they dont do the sticking BUT you can still try in G.P road ( as far as i am concerened G.P.Road is for cars and Pudhupettai is for bike's
) I wouldnt recommend you to go to pudhupettai ( would say very very very dangerous place

)
And no Pudupettai my dear brothers! Went there once with my friend and never going again! Saami enakku sticker'e venam!

I've personally seen the local ones (Rs 400 etc) rusted after a while. But Utsav's are pretty easy (actually damn easy) to clean & DOES NOT accumulate dust. My Rx's plates are pristine clean even after 10 months & are perfectly clean. Even the tar spots seem to fail on Utsav.
Lol @Srivaatsav - For stickering job, why would he want to stay away from Pudupettai? Its going to be done right in front of him unless someone wants the bike to be left there for a day for a simple stickering!!! That's the reason I asked why scare him?2011 - CBR 250R (RED, Delivered) - Happy Man! - SOLD

Few things i thought,i should share with the CBR owners. This is what i did the 2nd day of the bike.
1. Wash and Dry (Used only Optimum No rinse No wash as it was not much dirty)
2. Tried using Swirlx on couple of scratches created by the Pujari who did the puja to my bike, could not remove it. I believe its because of the lacquering on the paint(No sure, just assuming).
3. Tested Meg Tech wax and Collinite (As most of the parts in CBR is fiber less of metal)
4. Masked the black fiber/plastic joins (Very important when applying Tech wax)
5. Applied 303 Aerospace/Meg Ultimate Protectant on all the black fiber/plastic area
6. Treated the bike with Meg tech Wax and then after 4 hrs with Collinite. Generally we need to wait atleast 12 hrs after Tech wax but due to cloudy weather, decided to do it after 4 hrs.
7. Applied Tire gel.
And guess what, evening it rained and the water beeding was excellent.
Few pics.
