Is this what they mean by honda quality?
or is it that we CBR owners have become too sensitive to minor issues and do a lot of screaming~ its more of a noticing every moves of a nayi dulhan( new bride in the family)

The quality of the spares used in this bike is so bad. I think these images would show you what I am talking about.

Would like to add that the bearing in question is Indian make could not re-collect the name of the company but this looks like a third grade Indian bearing. The bikes which are manuafactured outside India definately have Japanese ones.

Minor issues? I think your definition of a major issue is engine seizure.

I hope the "nayi dulhan" does not turn out to be a very sick old woman in disguise.

Well we paid the full amount without question didnt we?I didnt give them duplicate notes or low quality notes!!

then y shudnt we get what was promised~!? why should we stay happy with low quality and cheap build?

apart from that, minor issues will turn into major issues if not rectified in time which can prove deadly in the long run!! how wud it be when u are crusising at a speed of 130 kmph and somethin goes terribly wrong and u bike performs an instant stoppie throwing u meters into the air and finally u crashing into the ground, bleeding to death?

ASIF no offense but what would you have done when u spent 2 Lacs on a bike and face a major issue in a months time. The problem in picture is a quality issue which i am trying to bring forward to all propective CBR buyers and those who are using this bike currently. Let me add to the delima No Oil Filters , No Oil Gaskets, No Parts whatsoever. I have had a Karizma which i used for 7 years not one day was it grounded this way.

              • This is getting scary. So do you suggest, seeing everything, that people who have booked should cancel, I mean, do you think that is a wise decision, or do you think that Honda will wake up and start fixing it?

                    Shocked!

Now I strongly believe quality of CBR250R has been compromised. No trust on the internals too.

Got your point; I've only one point to make; if you dealership shows a good face to you & doesn't order the parts from HMSI, is there a way you or your Father can make out ? No right? This is why I said, try approaching other ASC's, then you'll know who's right & wrong.

Too much!!! What oil did they use? Can you post a scanned copy of the bill? Did they work on the valve clearance? Mine costed only Rs 586 for the same job above, without water wash. Hope your water wash was free. Also, I've been hearing that KUN is worst when it comes to servicing. Not sure since I don't have personal experience.

Whoa!!! Its damn fun in the city. Very easily flickable & the amazing torque in any gear leaves most people behind.

To a certain extent YES. Reason being that - First Impression is Best Impression. Most bikes had a faulty SHIMs in the beginning, so that's a fist big let down; then the change in the engine from MC41 to MC42 for India; ofcourse, there's one engine oil leak reported, one ASC messed up with SHIM causing to replace the crankshaft. But the fact remains that most people DO HAVE non faulty vehicles. May be only a few of them report that.

Which dealer? That is utter nonsense; It costs about 2.1-2.3K IIRC for the extended warranty.

PS - Pls give full details when you ask a question. Otherwise it goes into multiple iterations asking, which dealer, when was it, before or after buying etc
