I saw this frame slider some times back. Even if it comes cheap i am not going for it. Reason being it is directly bolted to the engine/transmission block. I fear in any serious fall it directly trasfers the impact to the engine unit which may cost some expensive damages. If i am wrong anyone please correct me. I am planning to do one for my own attached to the bike's frame and not on the engine (I usually take my timeOriginally posted by johnjojo08 View Post

Another interesting comparison of Honda CBR250R against a de-restricted Aprilia RS125, a restricted Suzuki GSX-R600 and a restricted Yamaha XJ6.

Initially it gets pretty hot because friction is more betweel cylinder and pistons and also due to some other reason, I had the same heating issue. But after some 120 kms or so everything was normal. Also, Check if your radiator fan is working or not.Originally posted by doctor3003 View Posti got my delivery one week back due to busy schedule i cudnt make a longer ride....i rode 80 km and after that it was like sitting on a volcano...before that heat was also der for atleast 10 km run, bt i thought its k bt nw i have to meet d engineer...anybody faced d same?M800 - 2001 - 5787.Nano 2011 - 5086.Figo 2011 - 518.P220 - 2010 - 5995.CBR 250R - 2011 - 250.sigpic

Yeap I kinda got my balls fried too, Feared how to take it to Chennai.
Yeap, Correct ... After crossing 150 KM's its seems to be bit okay! Not that hot, But okay! If you are still facing the same amount of heat even after 150+ KM's kinda get it checked mate!Originally posted by doctor3003 View Posti got my delivery one week back due to busy schedule i cudnt make a longer ride....i rode 80 km and after that it was like sitting on a volcano...before that heat was also der for atleast 10 km run, bt i thought its k bt nw i have to meet d engineer...anybody faced d same?

@Bladeboy - Quite true that the heat is strong only till 150 Kms of run in. Another point is, wear riding pants & you'll never know the heat for sure.
Also, when you keep riding over 40/50 Kmph, the heat is hardly noticeable. Its only in the stop & go traffic & especially when the fan kicks in, the heat pricks.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

. There is no major probs for the bike.
I need to know whether the RVM and left foot peg of R15/Fazer suits CBR?
Also the clutch lever of RTR180 suits it. No parts are available rite now. so thinking of going for these for the time being.

Now, the CBR owners have to carry a big umbrella in case if it rains while riding.
