PS: bro please post some more "MAGNIFIED" and closer images of the bike treated with synwax..i wanna set it BIG!

Thanks. You wont get Rjyas or any branded jacket here. You will have to get them through Zulfi or PlanetDSG online. Jai Hind Complex in Lalbagh is the source for spares and aftermarket stuff but it's riddled with duplicate stuff. So tread lightly. My helmet is a Vega Shadow. My horn is stock still. It's ample enough for me.Originally posted by bhaskersaxena View Posthi bro
nice pics there... which r the shops in lucknow to look for quality products like jackets (Rjays, if possible), gloves..

I can't really compare it with other dealers as I don't have any experiences with other dealers.Originally posted by Bluestreak View PostThanks Sudeep
Just wanted to know how is Saphire compared to other dealers when it comes to buying and service experience
Anyone who has got the bike delivered and serviced at Saphire??
I've bought mine from Saphire and there is nothing to write about the buying experience. It was just normal.
But when I went there for servicing, my experience was really good. They took the CBR service as priority and the guy was asking my riding experiences and whether I've any issues. I was in the service bay and the service was done in front of me. And I was happy with the service and the treatment I got there.Sudeep P Nambiar

Havent u read any of my post mate??Originally posted by aargee View PostAppreciate if you can share that info as how to get this done.
My tank and footrest have been ordered in the same way i.e rush/emergency order!!
its nuthing, its the same way as a normal order and can be registered with the SVC/honda regional headquater...
although the rule is they will charge some extra money for getting it to u early and separately from the bulk stock, somehow they arent charging anything for the tank cus they had damaged it from the beginning!
i cant swear by the time of it cus as u can see, my tank hasnt arrived yet!
PICS PLEASE???Originally posted by Binoy View PostNo the full footpeg. it costs 245rs/- and i would say its better than the stock one.
Before it broke the rubber part was almost peeled of. But RTR's one is very good.
and bro, my name is AMLAN and not ALMAN!

. Hope will loosen up after some miles.
I am still confused about that stall at top end, any guess anyone?
Hope will visit there again tomorrow with friends
for some pics.
Regarding the Extended warrenty can anyone tell me the extended warrenty period ?
The extended warranty is 3 years provided you have performed all paid services right in time.
I have managed 143km/hr at 10.5k rpm on 5th gear and after that I did not have a chance to try on the 6th.
However, I did try the 6th gear earlier and it just struggled to go past 9k rpm. The prob was quite similar in case of R15 too. The babe does not respond well on 6th gear, the increase in speed becomes really slow when we apply the 6th. People who have done above 150km/hr was due to any downward slope or any gradient. The case with R15 was all same. The true speed of our babe measured with GPS may be close to 140km/hr.I am kind of sure no SVC guy can solve this problem unless some alteration with the air:fuel mixture is done and only a performance kit with remapped ECU is the possible solution. May be a skilled Honda engineer finds a solution to this.
It is okay that we do not do over 145 km/hr every day but a Pulsar 250cc coming up this Deewali and beating our babe gonna be intolerable for many.
It is high time to get ready for some inexorable facts.

Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

Mine also idles at 1800-1900 rpm when I start.Originally posted by Binoy View PostGuys i have a probs during the idling. when i starts the bike it idles at 2K rpm. is this same as yours?
So I just start and leave it for few seconds and then it idles at 1500 rpm. Even Ninja has the same behavior I believe. So I guess, it shouldn't be a big problem.
Even the SVC guy told me that its not an issue.Sudeep P Nambiar

Initially It'll idle at 2k + or - 200 rpm, But gradually it'll come down to 1500 or so rpm. This is a common thing with MPFI vehicles. Not just bikes but cars as well.Originally posted by Binoy View Postyes will post the pics ASAP. Sorry for your name. it was a typo

Even the SVC guy told me that its not an issue. This is not a problem at all like thefastestindian said but it might cause problems if you start riding while the idling is higher, as far as i know..Originally posted by Binoy View PostGuys i have a probs during the idling. when i starts the bike it idles at 2K rpm. is this same as yours?
The higher idling simply warms the engine up and shouldn't take too much time.. Let it warm up then start off..Get ready for the ride! 24 Hours on a Bike...

This is a common thing with MPFI vehicles. Not just bikes but cars as well. The CBR 250 has a closed loop system for sensing the Oxygen level in exhaust, through a Lambda(Oxygen) sensor. The oxygen sensor needs to be hot to sense ,and so is positioned close to the exhaust port..This heats up the sensor in about a minute or two depending on the ambient temperature. So the engine is kept at a higher RPM by ECU in open loop mode, and once the sensor heats up and starts sending the voltage, the ECU changes from open to closed loop and uses the sensor out put..this is when the engine comes down in RPM..Originally posted by vkavadia View PostThis is not a problem at all like thefastestindian said but it might cause problems if you start riding while the idling is higher, as far as i know..
